Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor

I have been staying in this property for over 10 yrs and recent renovations to the rooms are amazing as well as the hallways repainted the staff is amazing Jeff the bartender is always giving helpful hints and places to eat and Dan at front desk is always helpful!!!

Our sheets were soaking wet. We called for a new set of sheets and they brought up a set that didn't fit our bed. We called again and the next set was also wet. There was no hot water in the shower at all. The pullout bed in the couch had an enormous bloodstain on the mattress.

Nice place and centrally located, nice staff. Paid for late check out (3pm) and cleaning crew knocked and walked into the room twice before noon. Communication between management and cleaning staff could use an overhaul. Otherwise, not a bad stay.

Kids enjoyed the pool and water park, definitely needs the update that they're doing to all the rooms as beds and sheets weren't that comfortable and bathrooms weren't very clean. Good location at least

They are in the remodel process which will make it even more inviting. Conveniently located right at the harbor. Larger than many hotels and very nicely decorated

The front desk staff was helpful, the room was very clean and the stay overall was very good.

The hot tub was not working. The pool area was pretty worn down. One elevator did not work. Just an okay place to stay for one night.

My kids loved the water park and pool. I loved the free parking and being able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

I love this location. So close to everything. Staff was very nice at check-in. Room was fine.

All that being said, the room was very clean, spacious and modern with good air conditioning. The bathroom had a lovely shower. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The hotel itself is clean and presentable and has an indoor pool but absolutely no outside areas at all. There is lots of free parking for hotel guests which is a huge plus in Plymouth. It is very close to the harbour and Main Street, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. It's also close to the museums. There is a very nice beach/park area very close by if you'd like to be outside and enjoy the weather. Would I stay again? Probably not, just because it didn't suit my expectations but that's a personal choice and lots of people would be very happy with the offering and facilities.

On a more personal scale—we didn’t expect the pool-view balcony to be inside the very hot and humid indoor pool ‘courtyard.’ It was too warm and stuffy to enjoy sitting in normal clothing for more than a few minutes.

We were able to get a roll away bed to accommodate our family. Very comfortable bed. The young lady who checked us in was very helpful and polite.

Room definitely could have been cleaned better. Staff was very short and not very hospitable. Air conditioning was good. Construction was going on and started very early.
