John Carver Inn & Spa

Very nice hotel. Close to everything in Plymouth. All redone. Pool was great. No restaurant or continental breakfast yet. In process of construction. No inconvenience of construction noticed at all. Rooms comfortable and clean. Front desk very nice, and personal service at desk 24/7.

We had a great time in the pool and walking around the harbor. Wonderful family time!

The pool area but disappointed that the slides were not available for use. The grandchildren were sad.

Unfortunately I have to make a complaint. My TV/dish network was unavailable my entire stay. Wanted to watch a movie at the end of the night last night. No luck. Staff had no solutions. I tried to reboot/unplug/google. Nothing fixed it.

Extremely clean new renovation had been done recently

The pool was nice and warm with a good water slide. Room was clean and comfortable.Hotel is right downtown in walking distance of restaurants, stores, and attractions.

Property was under some renovations at the time. So restaurant wasn’t open. My room was clean.

Television is dish only and was not working during our stay. The place is being renovated so the power tools start around 8 am. Luckily we went to sleep early due to not being able to watch anything in the room. Staff was very friendly and pool is nice and warm. No reastuant on site during renovation but lots of local restaurants nearby.

Quiet. Well maintained. Pool was very good. Just lack of microwave in all rooms to reheat food (Minor). Other than that. Room was excellent. Clean. Welcoming.

Just remember to ask for room service the night before in case you want it.

I wasn’t happy when I got there and there was no food on site. My opinion that should have been told to me when I booked room for the weekend or at least got a discount on room. I have stayed here before on multiple occasions and having the bar and food and also a pool was great but to get there this last time and just the pool was a super disappointment

The endless amount of construction on the property leaves hours of noise, difficulty finding parking due to equipment usage of lot and equipment, debris and paint smells filled the hallways. Staff was always friendly and helpful except for the general manager who snapped at me when I defended her employee that she was disciplining in public for saving a dog in a hot car.

The staff was phenomenal, the room was nice and the beds were EXTREMELY comfortable!!

Would stay again! Great location.

We had a wonderful stay at John Carver. Parking was always available, close proximity to a convenience store, restaurants, downtown shops. There was a city-wide power outage when we arrived and they were able to keep the wi-fi and amenities working which was fantastic for 3 young boys dying to get in the pool. Staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. There were renovations occurring so not all areas of the hotel were available but still would come back again.

Staff was super friendly. Hotel has been updated and all looks great. Great waking distance to bars and restaurants.
