Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort

The hotel room, beach and pool was nice. Hotel only has valet parking so $45/day plus tips every time you need your car. Food and beverages were overpriced. Paid for a continental breakfast but the hotel is staffed to treat you like you’re in a restaurant so we had to tip the waiter 20% for bringing coffee which is ridiculous. Everything at this hotel is expensive. Expect to pay a lot in tips.

Had a bad experience.

I booked ocean view and got partial, toilet ran all the time and we had to fix. Shower faucet broken and hard to use. Very expensive for what you get. Not going back

Clean rooms and very nice staff. Would book again when it is cooler in FL.

The atmosphere was lovely however the rooms are very small for what you pay for. No hot water after 3am.

The hotel/room was clean. The things I wasn’t happy about the stay was the price of food at The Kester. The breakfast buffet was $42 each. There’s no way anyone can eat that much for the price you pay. It’s not like it was anything special. As good as anywhere else for a short walk you can go to Tiki Bar at the Lighthouse Cove Resort like a minute walk away. The pool side food was good for appetizers. We got room service one night and it was like $70+ for a plate of spaghetti with grilled chicken and a Caesar salad and it came in a cardboard box. They couldn’t even deliver it in a plate with a cover like they do down at the pool. We got Pepsi from room service too and they come already in a cup with ice and it was already flat.

Our stay was amazing! 4 days and had the best trip ever. A lot of peace and relaxation! It gives the feeling your on an island when your not but everything was great! Good was really good! Service was also great. Only think I wish is this was an all inclusive resort! Other than that it was amazing!

I paid for it online through Expedia. Did not know you needed another $1,000 down when you check in. which was unexpected so we couldn’t do what we wanted. paid for amenities and parking but did not use any amenities. And we had to do valet, even though we didn’t NEED it. Very nice property but read and review everything before you pay for it because it was a waste to me!

I was so happy and excited to be at fore , laudrade, and I my son was celebrating his 17th birthday and we choosed Marriott Hotel Pompano Beach, when we got there , the Agent his name was Mathew, he gave us great service and the checkin was easy and fast, the problem started when we go to the room, the bathroom one of the cabinet which supposed to be attached with the sink was broken and when I grab hand towel after I washed my hand it fell almost hit my foot,, them we try to call facility the room phone wasn’t working, never fixed the phone after we checked out, then I had to walk to the whole way find phone called front desk, to send some one , they fixed it then next day , by the way if you need some thing, you hav to call front desk, you need to go down stairs to grab anything you requested! Housekeeping services wasn’t bad but not friendly, here is the worst part, on our 4th day staying, this notice fire hazard alarm went off and i Hana bad migraine and I couldn’t handle the noise, my son and his friend left the room immediately , this was happening when we were sleeping, I ran out and looking for some one to tell me what happened, wend to front desk , they don’t know anything, I was looking for mger, no mger duty 2 days in a rows, the next day I talked to Rochardo/ mger / and asked we should notify this through email or text before this happened, he seems doesn’t care, he apologized and removed 1 night parking , so disappointed and never advised ppl to go there

The staff couldn’t have been more polite, kind and accommodating. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the hotel.

Valet "lost" our car keys. We had to wait outside for almost an hour until they figured out they left it inside the car in an open parking lot, my car was unlocked with the keys inside, anyone could've taken it. We pay $44 a night to park valet for peace of mind, this shouldn't be happening!!!

I hate them never again
