Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort

The buffet breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, we were unable to go in the water as we wanted. The beach was u inviting with sargasso and the were no available lounge chairs with umbrellas available.

The hot tub was not working properly. The hotel needs to warn guests that the shoreline is experiencing a heavier than normal amount of seaweed. I chose this location because of the proximity to the beach, but I wasn't able to use any of the beach amenities.

So clean. Great staff.

Stayed with my husband and another couple for the 4th of July weekend. The property was fine- rooms were clean and common areas were generally clean- and staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel allows day passes, so for the holiday weekend it was overcrowded which caused the hotel to be short staffed and the pool quickly became cloudy and dirty… The beach was not an option due to the amount of seaweed in the water (not hotel’s problem) , but all of this made the stay less enjoyable. I have stayed here many times before and everything was great, so rethink staying on holiday weekends.

I stayed solo and baby this resort was everything I hoped it would be. The food and drinks were really good and I enjoyed the music with the DJ. Staff was really nice and room was cleaned, everyday at that! I will be back.

The room was clean and nice,the staff were very helpful and the pool was amazing and the breakfast .I would definitely recommend coming back again.

Also while it’s on the beach, most of the time the mounds of seaweed made it impossible to swim or walk there!

Food was not good. Only Valet parking available. No self parking option. We went to the room to drop bags before dinner and told the valet we’d be back in 10 and they parked our vehicle anyway and then complained when they had to go retrieve it again.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel! The pool and staff were true highlights for us. The restaurants had limited variety, but the food was really great! We only had challenges with ants in our room on the last night, and the hotel room walls were superrrrr thin. The staff was very helpful with the ant issue!

Pool area is always full, for the amount of rooms the pool is not big enough, valet and resort fees are ridiculously expensive and valet service is just annoying because always a line up. Beach is not that great either. Most probably would not stay here again.

The food, the location, the cleanliness, and the easy beach access. The cost per night after paying a fortune in the beginning.

Pool staff are friendly & helpful Con: Restaurant in house. Suite that has connecting room has bad sound proofing , I can hear the whole conversation of the guest next to us. (not the hotel's fault they're loud, I called the front desk on 2 consecutive nights to complain abt noise both at 10pm/ after 10pm - which they did call the guest to tone down their loud music) having said that I think on a normal speaking volume they should still have a good sound proofing between rooms It is a newly renovated hotel, while spending time at the pool , I was walking around the pool and stepped on the gutter area ( it's meant to be walked on) the slat cover was broken - I didn't notice & as I stepped onto it, my foot all the way to my shin went in and I fell. Now the day before I did see someone else had an accident on the same spot, I didn'tgive it much thought as I saw the guest told a staff. I didnt realize they would put the same broken slats back - so the next day I fell on it and only then did they put a cone to warn ppl. The guests who saw it told the staff , Elvie out of all the staff ( he's not even the first person I encountered when I fell) is the only one who offered a gauze to cover my bleeding foot. I couldn't enjoy the rest of the day , I mustve landed awkwardly on my knee , I had to take Advil and ice pack for it. Overall I am a local , looking for a spot to hang out- would not recommend the place.

Staff is unorganized and dismissive and refuse to help the client but rather go back and forth and complain. Very unprofessional.
