This is an older motel but was clean and maintained. Very quiet and within walking distance of the town of Port Angeles. We had a large room and the breakfast was good.

Unfortunately, I later discovered that the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned after the previous guest. Both bathroom sinks were covered with what appeared to be beard trimmings or very short black hairs, there were also longer hairs in the bathtub, the toilet had not been flushed properly, and it didn’t have the paper sanitation seal that is commonly placed over the seat after cleaning. By the time I noticed all of this, it was almost midnight, so I didn’t contact reception. Instead, I cleaned the hair from the bathroom sinks myself using one of the towels. One of the lights in the living room also wasn’t working. On my last morning, I also noticed a big black ant walking around the kitchen sink. There is also a church nearby whose bells ring at midnight and again at 12:30 a.m., which may be worth knowing if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, the apartment looked quite old and didn’t seem to be well maintained. Everything felt very dated, and the bathroom is in need of a thorough renovation, or at the very least, the caulking should be replaced. On a positive note, the breakfast was good, and I really appreciated the extended breakfast hours, which provided plenty of flexibility in the mornings. I also appreciated having a dedicated parking space, which made returning late after sunset completely stress free.

Room floor was dirty like it hadn’t been swept in days. Toilet had dry pee on the rim. The bed was comfortable.

Cute little vintage motel. Walk to everything!

Very nice clean hotel for a two star hotel. Room is small and rather dated, but clean. Location was quiet with plenty of parking. Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Good place- I would stay there again.

We were told that the AC wasn’t working when we checked in and it happened to be in the mid-80s that day. We could open the windows, but the motel is street level (couldn’t tell how safe the surrounding area was?). Thankfully the night cooled off into the 60s. The bathroom was full of mildew (ceiling, walls). The rest of the room was nice. I gave this motel three stars because of the free laundry and breakfast; otherwise I would have given it two stars.

The room was very small. Everything was old, outdated and in poor working condition. There were bugs in the room, and stains in the shower, toilet and bathroom counter. The entire place needs to be gutted and gone through a complete overhaul.

Location is great! A few minutes to walk to lots of eateries and shops. Right next to main roads in and out of town, great view from across the street. Good area to walk the dog. Parking right outside our door. The room was alright. Small, no A/C, but there was a big stand fan in the room that was very helpful. The bed was comfortable, furnishings and bedding were nice, newish, and clean. The bathroom hasn't been remodeled since the 80s. Mint green sink and bathtub, grouted tile in the shower starting to show some black spots. The edges where the fixtures meet the floor are all in need of deep cleaning and maintenance, and the patchy paint fixes in the bathroom look cheap and tacky. The sink is all scratched up and showing rust. For as small and free of ammenities as this place is, for $200+ per night, I would expect at least a room that resembles something designed in this century. But sadly, this is probably one of the better affordable options in Port Angeles at the last minute.

The room did not have air conditioning and had a fan that was so big (because it was needed) that it barely fit in the room. The shower was moldy.

There is an old section and a newer section where the office is. Our room was in the old section. Wasn’t what I thought we were getting. The room was very small and appeared clean, however there was some grit in the sheets. In the bathroom the fixtures were quite old, which we don’t mind, but the toilet seat was only fastened on one side and there was mold in the shower grout. The breakfast was ok, and the staff were friendly.

Room was clean, but small. We opened the windows to cool the room since there wasn’t air conditioning. A pedestal fan was available to use

Nice breakfast selection, and quality
-
Run down room. No air conditioning.
-
Very noisy Very hot unable to sleep well used the fan which was dusty and ineffective Dangerous steps from parking lot to the room too uneven Area has significant issues with homeless One of the cups wasn’t wrapped
-
Free and secure laundry machines were a great benefit traveling by bicycle on the Olympic Discovery Trail

The room we were in had a pink bath and pink sinks, which were definitely showing their age. There's no air-conditioning, but in Port Angeles, it doesn't seem to be necessary.

The wind was fierce coming in from somewhere? Like the Banshees from Ireland. I hardly slept at all, and they need new pillows, not comfy at all. Beds too.

The hotel is older but the room was clean and bed comfortable. Everything was in great shape! I had read some notes so good reviews so was pleasantly surprised. Great breakfast too.

We enjoyed our stay at the Uptown Inn. We were in the old style motel units were you park your car in front of the room and walk-in. The laminate floors were great, refrigerator had a freezer to freeze water bottles, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean & a good size. The breakfast was excellent with fresh scrabbled eggs, waffles and other choices. The closeness to Olympic Park was great. Would definitely stay again if we were to return. We also like to give a shout out to Cloudy Day Bakery, a short walk from the motel, excellent donuts.
