Comfort Inn On the Bay

Location Gnats, odd smell, water stain on carpet under sink.

It was nice to on the bay. Great sounds and smells. I was booked into a room marked as handicap accessible. But those amenities were not compatible with me. The toilet was very high and though promised a bathtub and shower, there was no tub, just the ability to wheel in…water went everywhere! When I asked about it I was told it was what Booking.com booked me in to and they couldn’t do anything about it.

The place is not in good shape at all. Scotch tape holding wallpaper up and not clean at all. Tub was cracked. For the price we paid it was horrible. Person at front desk had bad body odor. Won’t be staying here again.

Breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful.

Everything is great!!! Oh my gosh. Gr8 views. Ck out AOWW. I'M POSTING MY STAY HERE. LOVE IT. I WILL DEF STAY AGAIN. PT. ORCHARD NEEDS MORE HOTELS,MOTELS, INNS ALONG THEIR WATERFRONT. I WOULD TEAR DOWN THOSE OLD STRUCTURES FULL OF ANTIQUES AND PUT IN MORE PLACES TO STAY. THIS COULD BE A GREAT TOURIST TOWN IF THEY GOT THEIR ACT TOGETHER. PUT IN MORE BREAKFAST PLACES. IT COULD BE GR8 WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE MAKING THE CHANGE.

Location was convenient. However the property interior is in need of renovation. Wall paper pealing and patched with pealing patches as well, paint badly worn, decor outdated. Needs remodel despite! See above

We loved the view walking out our door! Psrking was great! We are vendors and pull a utility trailer. They gave us a designated place to keep our trailer, very convenient for us! My only complaint: I lost my eyeglasses. I don’t even remember seeing them when we packed up. They didn’t make it home with me. I believe they were missing the day before. I called and felt like I was dismissed about it. Makes me believe someone stole them! Very disappointed in the way it was handled!

The room I had smelled like someone smoked in the room which made me wonder how the property is enforcing the no smoking rule inside the rooms.

We had no problem doing our stay

Loved the location, beautiful view, clean room and property, helpful and friendly staff. Only complaint is the breakfast and coffee. But free is free so there’s that.

Trying to figure out TV was impossible. Never figured out TV.. Didn’t like that I had charges on my card after I got home. When I called was asked if I used the safe in the room, that’s what the charges were for. She said she would correct it, but thought I should have been asked when I checked out and not just charged for them.

The staff was extremely helpful.

Our room had a terrible smell and the carpet was wet. Black mold on the bathroom ceiling. Bed very uncomfortable and people randomly smoking pot and other "stuff" outside of our room at 3am.

Easy access and clean rooms. Beds are very comfortable Nothing
