Homewood Suites by Hilton Tampa - Port Richey

The staff were so helpful and amazing. The pools were clean until the pool without the waterfall broke and become chemically imbalanced. The hot tub wasn’t hot, it was lukewarm. The beds were the WORST part. That is my biggest complaint. We actually left early because the beds were so terrible our bodies hurt. The breakfast was always hot and plentiful, well stocked.

I found a lot of small ants in my room.

The room was good. I was there for 7 nights and my room was only really cleaned 2 times. One of the times the bathroom trash bag was left on the sink and not in the can. The dirty towels were still hanging on the door. Clean towels were put in the room at least. My last night I wanted to do laundry. I had wet, sandy clothes from going to the beach. I was told they had 25 cards to use the machines and all 25 were out. There were 2 empty washers, but because all the cards were out I could not do my laundry. If you only have 2 washers and 2 dryers why would you loan out 25 cards? I would keep several back for this reason or have pay machines so when there are empty machines someone waiting could use them. I DID NOT get to do my laundry.

Everything was great except the pool had a lot of debris in it. Other than that, everything was great.

Exceptional

We stood for two weeks in June and were, for the most part, impressed. The hotel counter staff were very attentive and exceptional, ensuring our stay was top-notch. We'd like to point out that Kimmi was simply amazing! Very personal and professional at the same time. The maid/cleaning service was very good, particularly Yasmin. She thoroughly cleaned the room, and you could actually smell the cleanliness. When it wasn't her, it was less desirable. The breakfast was excellent when the regular lady was not on vacation. Her substitute was a bit moody, and things ran out about half an hour into a two-hour window. Breakfast goers had to ask her to refill. Also, the tables were not cleaned well. Let me explain - guests threw out their garbage, but remnants and stickiness were left on the tables. All that being said, the pool and grilling areas were simply beautiful! One pool was heated, one was not - this was perfect though for those super hot days when no more heat was needed. Guests with small children mostly used the heated pool. When the grills ran out of gas due to so many guests grilling, the staff made sure to replace the fuel ASAP.

Kimmi at the front desk was wonderful! Very attentive and had a wonderful disposition.

We have been coming to this hotel for over 20 years when we are in town. It is always been a good place to stay and has been renovated over the years. The staff has always been delightful. We love the kitchenettes and the ability to cook outside on the grill. We’ve enjoyed staying here and we’ll always be coming back.

Perfect location, beautifully comfortable stay

I just wanted to say the choice I made to pick him that hotel was outstanding. The service customer care, room was very clean and held everyone that works. There was very helpful. Thank you for an outstanding job in all the areas catching breakfast staff and clean room.

The only complaint I do have is that an older lady working the desk almost wouldn't give me another key for the room. We locked ourselves out and the lady wanted an ID to replace the key. She made me feel like I wasn't good enough to be there. We got it worked out but the way she was being tiearss us wasn't very nice.

The friendliness of the staff was incredible. The front desk checks in with you several times during your stay. The continental breakfast is absolutely above and beyond. The food is incredible and the options are endless! Was extremely impressed by this! Thank you. We visited from several hours away for our son's paintball tournament weekend! The pools are amazing aswell! Truly, there is 2 large pools with very different temperatures and a whirlpool; something for everyone! Our room was very clean and exceeded our expectations by far. The layout of the room was perfect for our family. If you're looking to adopt a stray kitten or cat this is the place you can have your choice for free....lots of friendly strays in the area .... Come grab yours!

Screaming children in pool area right up until close at 10pm everyday, useless to my wife and me. Hot tub was not hot.Should have a couple hours for adults. Had to reset my WI-FI devices every day around 4:40 PM for some unknown reason.
