The room was cozy and clean. The owner was kind and friendly. It’s a great location that felt safe to park and stay. I will stay here anytime I travel to Portland.

Very good

I needed a hotel in this area. I found this motel was newly renovated so the room was like new, and very clean. The staff were awesome at check-in. The bed was comfy, and the AC cold. I had the suite with a wonderful kitchen as well. Road noise is audible as the highway is right in back of the hotel. I always pack ear plugs and they did the trick.

We just wanted a convenient, economical place to stay for a couple of nights and this was perfect. It was clean, safe and the staff were very nice. Lots of restaurants nearby. This was easy access to downtown Portland and surrounding area-without staying downtown. No frills but perfect to lay your head at night.

Not much after speaking with manager. Nasty attitude The staff. The location. And everything after….
-
Updated rooms with large fridge space and microwave (other rooms have kitchenettes, which I didn't need). Great furniture and facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.

What a gem! An old fashioned motel that was up to date in furnishings and decor.

This is the cutest place - retro but totally modern. Absolutely spotlessly clean. The man at the desk is very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, fantastic memory foam pillows, and completely new bathrooms. Easy to get to, and a straight shot to the airport.

Fabulous motel with not only 2 queen beds, we had 2 rooms so we both had quiet nights. Room was well equipped and immaculate. Highly recommend. No breakfast, but plenty of fast food nearby.

Paid online in full. Then they pull $100 for security deposit separately at ✔️ in and then you have to do a walk through before you l leave to get your $100 back. Ghetto inconvenience when leaving. Place is cute. Sketchy though.

We stay here every time we visit Portland. We love it!

I've stayed numerous times within last 4-5 years and each time has been the same experience--very friendly and accommodating staff/owners, rooms clean and welcoming, and keeping in mind the structures/place has been around for a bit, they have kept it in great shape, while keeping the welcoming homey style in affect (& while keeping pricing approachable!). Next time I need a place around Portland, this will be my go-to once again.

The owners were very accommodating. Very friendly.

I don't know how it received a 9.2 rating from other guests, but we had several issues with our room -- the heater in the first bedroom was okay, but blocked by the table; the heater is the second bedroom was either on (full blast) or off, so my friend was either too hot or too cold. The shower is tiny and not suitable for a grown adult, even my 5'2" 105 pound friend...maybe my four-year granddaughter would have managed. The hairdryer fell off the wall because it was attached with two screws into sheetrock (no mollybolts). Worse than all that, it was overpriced. I made the mistake of assuming that the high rating and high price would provide a nicer place to stay. Not a great location either. Disappointed!

This is my second time staying at this motel. Everything was great, check in went smoothly and quickly. The shower head is made for someone taller (I'm not that thin and felt like I had to run around in the shower to get wet) but otherwise the amenities were good for a motel. For some reason the road noise seemed really loud this time--might recommend bringing earplugs. Other than that, I'd definitely stay here again.

Exceptional
-
Basic hotel price is reasonable and the room was clean. I could hear the road but given it's proximity to 5 and Capitol it's to be expected.
-
The rooms are so clean as is the property. The beds and pillows are great
-
Cute 50s-style motel with modern interiors and friendly staff.

Thanks to the owners. The Neon signing is fantastic! Easy on-off from I-5 yet quiet enough.
