Motel 6 Portsmouth, NH

We changed rooms and she asked me to go down and pick up the key and return the other key. Staff uniform were dirty and stained. Parking was sketchy A guest asked if someone was siphoning gas because she was low on fuel and put gas the day before.

Clean room and safe

Very clean, most of the staff was very friendly. Someone decided to shoot fireworks off in the parking at 10:30. P.m. on the 3rd of July. The situation was resolved quickly. The room was smaller than anticipated for the 2 of us, but it was clean and well maintained. Ample parking and close to everything.

Don’t stay here. This place was filthy and felt like a scene out of a CD movie set. People were milling in the hallways and stairwells, and smoking right outside all the doors. I literally felt unsafe going out to my car. Pick another hotel.

An easy place to stay. Parking lot is easily accessible. Room is clean. Bathroom fixtures all worked. It was no problems.

Young lady at front desk was pleasant and efficient checking me in as well as canceling a future visit I had made in error

Property was filthy , my room was disgusting. There was actually blood on the wall by the bed the sheets were stained, floor was dirty, random hairs in the room . I don't think the place and my room was dusted in about a year .let alone the FN dog barking all night .

Room was sub par. Curtains were off track and had holes in them. Sink had scratches. Hallway smelled like weed.

The lobby smelled like weed and there was a guy dealing in the parking lot all afternoon and evening. Cigarette holes in the bed spread. Holes in the curtains. Door at the end of the hall to the outside was off its hinges. Wi-Fi didn't work. Do not go there. We left just after 7:00 am. Couldn't wait to leave.

Location is great. All stores are right across the street Room was filthy, bathroom had a few roaches and the mini fridge broke when the door opened. Won’t be staying here again.

room wasn’t ready when I got there (& I was late) -no pool eventho it is advertised & the main reason I chose this place - no closet in room, bad lighting, everything needs repairs or replacement. Very noisy, undesirable people loitering around hotel 24/7. Did not feel safe. The room I was moved to did not have micro or frig so I waited for another room. Check in person said it was same price but website has different pricing. Even my 8 year old grandson said it was 1-star hotel. This is the 3rd time I stayed at Motel 6. All were just as disappointing. Never again.

A no smoking room smelled like smoke

forgotten I will never ever ever stay in that hotel in Motel 6 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. You definitely check and by the way, my husband and I completely ill. My husband has to go to the hospital because he can't breathe. There's mold in that building OK we spent 123 nights. He's very sick. I have to take him to the hospital tomorrow. I

There were linens & trash in the hallway. The room floor wasn't clean. The mattress was terrible. This is about the 4th-5th time we've stayed here & don't remember the cleanliness being an issue as it was this stay. Did the mattresses get changed? Very uncomfortable!!!

The room at this location was Okay, but could be better for the price. The Room wasn't dirty or messy at all, but the facility suffers from age. Too much paint leads to sticky doors. The bathroom door was marred with use from dirty hands and should be cleaned regularly, the caulk at the under mount sink was disgusting and could be seen by just looking in the mirror, the fan was working but offered no real purpose. The water pressure was almost non existent; the rain came down with more pressure than the shower drip. With that said, the staff were friendly and attentive. Over all I would recommend hotels avoid deferring maintenance as the undone and uncompleted repairs were numerous at this location.

I have never stayed in a Motel that smelled as bad as this place.

This Motel 6 property is a bit better than most. The majority of Motel 6 properties one step above a fleabag. We like the Portsmouth location because there’s a Longhorn restaurant directly across the street want to and there are other restaurants and stores nearby. We like the property, but Booking.com did not give us the rooms I requested. It was sold out we can due to a nearby drag race. We did not get a room for the refrigerator. I’ve learned not to use Booking.com to book hotel rooms.

The location is good for us, directly across the street from a Longhorn restaurant and a McDonald’s that we can walk to. Motel 6 facilities are generally one step above a fleabag motel.

We like the location in Portsmouth because it’s across the street from several restaurants we like and that we can walk to. Motel 6 properties are generally one step above a fleabag motel. This one in Portsmouth New Hampshire is clean, one in Florida was so bad walking on the floor and bare feet resulted in a black coating on your feet.
