Motel 6 Portsmouth, NH

Stayed 1 night before a college tour with my daughter. Arrived late-around 9pm, and there were several men hanging around outside which made us feel a bit unsafe. The front desk staff was prompt and courteous. Room was very clean and air conditioned. Mattress was very average and people hanging around the hallway and outdoor area smoking cigarettes, despite signs saying it is a “smoke free property.” The coffee in the morning tasted old. It was fine for 1 night.

We asked for a refund and they refuse because they said we had stayed over an hour. We stayed an hour and a half, so that there was time for us to look for another place.

This place was rather sketchy. From the people drinking and smoking to the the guy sitting in his rather strange vehicle. It’s not a place I would stay in again

Room wasn’t too clean when we arrived. When using the toilet it started leaking. Also smoke detector was broken and hanging from wires with a bag on it. But they were a little helpful and help moved us to a little more of a better room.

The property inside was very clean and the smell was pleasant. The front desk was accommodating and very studious. The room was very small with two beds but very clean and the AC was AMAZING during these hot days. The outside parking lot was a good size and easy to park. All the guests we interacted with were very nice. We have pets and this place was very good for them. Over all the stay was great

This was an average hotel. There were a lot of people loitering in the parking lot which was riddled with empty mini alcohol bottles. Definitely did not go out alone at night. The room was okay for the 1 night we stayed. The toilet was leaking blue fluid upon our arrival. The staff attempted to help but no solution was found. They offered me old towels to contain the slow leak (which it did). This would have been a problem if we stayed longer than 1 night. The hotel was old and run down but clean and adequate for a short stay. We appreciated the mall and restaurants across the street.

Firstly, there is no refrigerator available. When I asked for my room to be cleaned, I was offered a mop and cleaning spray. So, don't expect any compassion, even if you have a dog and have just come back from the beach. On the other hand, I was able to get new towels.

Sticky. Also shower faucet made a horrible noise when running.

Paper cups were only good for an hour. Plastic would be much better. The smell of the carpet was strong and sickening. No tissues just toilet paper. No microwave or coffee maker. A mini fridge would've been nice. Maintenance was in and out most of the night slamming doors. Will not go back.

Close to everything we need The property was run down outside doors broken everything in our room was half fast repaired or not even, I think people lived on the property that can’t afford housing, pool was out of order with the cover still on it in July mind you, definitely won’t stay here again

The morning person at front desk was wonderful.

Would not recommend. Very outdated. Bathroom shower had barely any pressure. Very noisy with people walking around (outside and upstairs) for most of the night.
