Hampton Inn Portsmouth Central

Our room was very clean. All the staff were friendly and we received excellent customer service. Breakfast was excellent. The woman in charge of the breakfast was fantastic and she did an excellent job, very very friendly and made sure everyone had enough food and drinks. She deserves a BIG raise for all she did keeping up with the food, she was amazing and so friendly. The coffee was really good and always hot and fresh!!!! If we had one complaint it wound better pillows, they had no support at all. We would highly recommend this hotel and we will diffidently be back. The staff treated everyone as one big family, which was so awesome.

Ok. Wouldn’t stay here again, musty odor throughout property. Breakfast was lacking- many of the items were not replenished and I had to ask the girl to bring out almost all items. Wouldn’t stay here again

My stay was great.

The staff was too busy eating Chinese food and talking to address us when we walked into the property. We waited 5 minutes before being acknowledged for check in. She was not friendly and the hotel felt damp. The carpet in our room was damp and musty. Overall not a good value at all. The complimentary breakfast was less than desirable.

The breakfast was mediocre. Juice machine was broken the whole time and they only sometimes had juice (often out of apple or orange). Very limited choices. My kids did enjoy the waffle bar. Overall, I'll make a different choice next time.

It was very basic room and breakfast. The construction surrounding the hotel was blowing dirt everywhere and confused my GPS and sent us through the construction. Recommend you close down and update the hotel. Doors in the halls to maintenance areas were in need of help.

The room was clean, we stayed for 3 nights. There is construction going on but we did not hear anything from where our room was. The front desk staff was great. I was in the area for a class so did not utilize the free breakfast but it smelled good.Husband took advantage of the pool and hot tub said it was great and clean.Check in and out was quick and easy. The only things I was not thrilled about the road to get in and out was a little confusing partly because of the construction and just alot of random stop signs. The parking spaces are also a tight fit and not alot to choose from.

For a three star hotel this Hampton Inn would rate 9 on 10. Overall clean, beds comfortable, facilities adequate, breakfast had good variety.

Good food, helpful and professional staff. Variety, delicious breakfast. Hot tub and warm indoor pool. Blinds in the room were a bit tricky to use sometimes.

From when we arrived everything was great. The people in the reception area were welcoming and informative. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. Would stay there again if we are in the area.

All was awesome.

We were a little upset to find our room (Room 517) had been cleaned on Saturday, 5/16/26, and the door was left unlocked and slightly opened. We reported it the Reception Desk twice. We would return to that location in the future.
