MainStay Suites Prince George - Fort Lee

It’s so outdated - two hotels in one building. Feels like an old prison building. Dog barked in a room near mine and it echoed throughout the whole floor I was on. Reeked of marijuana all night. Ok for a quick place to stay, but still have sketchy vibes.

Location Rooms needed to be cleaned better. More towels keys kept deactivating. Weed smell, wait staff horrible. Never saw a housekeeper Will never stay again Really should be getting money back. False advertisement

Location, fairly new so updated property. Friday night: The previous persons that stayed in the room left personal property in the bathroom on the sink, front desk called to ask me to leave outside after 9:30 pm. Which tells me the room was not properly cleaned. Only one set of towels in the bathroom; I was told I could come to front desk for more, not my job as a paying guest. Saturday night: doors were slamming until about 2:30 am constantly. Either the doors don’t have anything to slow them from slamming on their own or I was put on the party floor. I called the front desk to have them address the noise, it didn’t help. I was there for a church event Saturday & Sunday. Very young children were running up and down the hall both nights. And the pool was closed. Construction was going on in the lobby. With the last two some sort of price adjustment or notice should have been made prior to, $229 for very little sleep, no pool access during the summer, dodging construction ladders, dirty sheets, constant noise… it’s a wonder the doors remain open. But maybe I’m just picky.

Very bad smell bad and the room was not cleaned

My door lock for inside was broken and my room had a lot of bugs in it. Not cleaned at all.

This hotel was perfect for my needs close stay to the airport and easy early rental return for my flight back home. Room was ready on time check in with MD at the Virginia location was super easy he was so kind and friendly made everything simple for me to enjoy my stay before returning home. Check out was even easier with Sharon she was so sweet and i just loved her i would bring her back with me lol. Staff here got my vote i would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for convinces at a reasonable cost just book. MD & Sharon got you thank you again guys sending my love from Hawaii.

Shops and restaurants close by . Booked 2 rooms they put us on opposite ends of property. Confusion upon check-in one room was already occupied when we enterd it . Could use some cleaning and painting.

Was not assigned the room that was booked. Kitchen was not clean.

The room was clean!! The staff was great.. Super close to Ft Lee

nothing The hotel was an unwelcoming shelter; it was not a safe place. The first night we got there, the staff just left the front desk and never came back. The rooms had issues; they smelled like weed, due to the fact that there were unhoused families living in the hotel. I had to wait 2 hours for someone to come into work for their shift to be placed in a room, and I was NEVER compensated for the inconvenience. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Canceld stay. Dirty rooms, ded cockroachs in the floor in room and dirty mini fridge.

No elevator and marijuana stench in hallways and rowdy, patrons, slamming doors and yelling, but otherwise a very nice place, excellent staff and upgraded facility

I liked the area it was in. I didn’t like the front desk staff that did not help our group with appropriate customer service. Her attitude was nasty. When asking her a question she would answer in a snappy tone.

I liked the accessibility and the kitchen area. I did not like that the rooms did not have smoke detectors. The sprinklers were not working. The rooms were not assigned and organized for us since it was paid for. I was told that they were out of rooms and tried to give me another room with a different bed which I did not pay for.

The Location was less than 10mins from my event!! Very Noisy during the night ,sitting area in lobby wasn’t clean (sofa day 2) woke up room smelling like (LOUD aka Weed) every conversation was heard throughout the rooms!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful
