SureStay by Best Western Mount Pleasant Racine

I will never stay there again. I was there for the holiday weekend and wanted to go there for the pool didn’t find out. The pool was closed for maintenance until I checked in ruined my whole Fourth of July.

Great rooms. Was very clean

I really enjoyed my stay the staff was great and the room was really clean

When we booked this hotel over 2 months ago, they told me the pool was working. When we arrived we got excuse after excuse of ‘it will be fixed tonight or tomorrow”. What lies! Just not a very friendly hotel. Our grandson was so disappointed he couldn’t swim. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room was clean and comfortable. No housekeeping which was a disappointment since went were there 3 nights (2 guests) and only provided 3 towels. I went to desk two different times to get fresh towels and each time a sign was out that they were helping another guest. It was after 9pm each time. Breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold options. Would stay again.

Cockroaches

The shower was a large handicapped accessible one which was fine except for the fact that quite a bit of water leaks out onto the bathroom floor and so more towels really needed to prevent yourself from slipping and falling. The most disappointing part of our stay was the fact that we could here every footstep of the person in the room above us. They were up early and going back and forth across their room for quite some time, so we were unable to sleep until they left their room. We did not eat breakfast there so I cannot comment on that.

One room had no toilet paper or kleenex, no tables in front of the couch like the other room. I want to be compensated.

We stayed there from June 25-June 28. Not one time did they clean our room or bring us fresh towels. The one bed was a hot mess. Part of the frame was sticking out. The bed skirt was all ripped up. The light by the bed did not work. The light on the desk went out the morning we were leaving. The shower tub was not real clean. There was a broken shelf in the shower. The pool water was to cold to swim in.

The bathroom floor was oily slippery!! Very difficult to get up from the toilet with my walker. No traction because of the wet surface. Dangerous!! Unacceptable. Everything else was fine

Breakfast was rather lacking while staff just sat at the front desk. Most items were completely empty. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Overall, our stay was good for the price. The staff was so sweet! The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The location was excellent. The ONLY complaint we have is that in the 5 nights we stayed, our room never got serviced even though we put the please service sign on the door. We had to take our dirty towels down every day and exchange for fresh. We also had to place the trash outside the door in order for it to get emptied. I feel this is due to under staffing. There was usually only one or two people working at all times, and the hotel was completely booked. Too much work and not enough workers.

The room was also under-equipped for two guests, with only three pillows provided. In addition, the curtains were partially detached from the track and in need of repair. Breakfast was understocked fairly early in its run-time. A box of tissues in place of napkins and old pulp in the juice dispenser’s tray. It did not meet our simple expectations of a basic, easy stay while in town, especially for $200. Overall, the room did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned or inspected prior to our arrival.

Wasn't told ahead of time that we wouldn't be able to use the pool - one of the reason we picked the hotel - and one of the rooms appeared to be ready, but also looked like someone took a rest on the bed before leaving the room.

Room was clean and stay it was good. Just property needs some upgrades.

breakfast was great, nice variety and warm, only problem experienced was original room assigned, a king bed, the center supports must have been broken or ? causing you to roll to middle, upon advising front desk they did give us new room
