We checked in and was given a room key for the 2nd floor. When we opened the door we noticed that the room was already occupied. We went back to the front desk & was assigned another room. When we got to this room & tried to enter, another guest was already there and very startled that we were trying to enter the room. We went back to the desk to notify the clerk & get an unoccupied room requesting that the clerk needed to verify that it was not already occupied. This one was fine but the room itself was dirty, the pillow cases were stained, microwave was broken & bugs were crawling around on the bathroom floor. We did not sleep well at all for fear that someone would try to enter OUR room while we were sleeping. It was the most uncomfortable experience.

The room was clean and air conditioning worked well, bathroom was clean. When I arrived there was no WiFi available as they were doing maintenance which I was not very fond of because I needed the WiFi for work and I was not able to check for over an hour because there was no internet. To make things worse the power went out in the whole hotel for 6 hours.

Didn’t last one night. Horrible conditions. The man at the front desk apologized. I would not stay here if you’re looking for a good night’s rest. The first room we were given had maintenance going on which we were not told about.

Stay at your own risk and the app doesnt seem to care so after this ill be looking for a new app unless Hotels reimburses my stay.

I have stayed at Main Suites Raleigh-Cary several times over the past four years. It is a solid, affordable and well-located property if you are in the Triangle area. The property may have been upgraded recently and I was pleased with everything overall. It is not perfect but I'm not going to nitpick a 3-star hotel! Front desk staff and manager were pleasant, helpful, and professional.

TLDR: if you want a comfortable bed and an ample counter to lay your stuff on, this is a great choice, but the “amenities” that should set this place apart are sorely lacking, you most likely won’t get half of what’s listed in the description.

It was priced reasonably, should be less per night for the quality. The staff are amazing, they do their best but that’s about all I can say. F I L T H Y. This was the nastiest hotel that I’ve stayed in, as you might assume from that statement I’ve been lucky to never have a horror story about a room or hotel. This tested my patience, if I would’ve been able to change my hotel I would have but unfortunately I couldn’t do I had to stick it out. There were roaches in the light fixtures, a CRACK pipe in the stair case, it smelled like smoke, the bed sheets were disgusting I had to request new ones immediately, I didn’t have wash cloths in the bathroom and they charge a fee if you don’t bring the used items down. Thankfully the guy working was only moderately annoyed and didn’t charge me for them, but guess what, they were stained. I would say avoid this at all costs unless you are booking last minute and need a place to take your pets until you can find a better place. You can tell this was a nice place once upon a time but it’s been ran down now.

Whoever cleansed this room needs to be fired the side of the bedding skirt, the comforter on the bed the walls and the smell of the room was awful. The only thing that was clean was the bathroom.
-
The staff was amazing. The room was not as clean as I would’ve liked. The beds were very clean and the sheets smelled clean but there was a dirty wash cloth left over the shower, a used bar of soap and in general the room was not cleaned very well. We were in town for an event and literally just slept and left the next morning, overall it served its purpose.

From a notice on the elevators, it appears this might be a weekly or nightly rental at times with the people asked to leave for the busy weekend events in the area.
