Don't be deceived by the pictures - as we were. This is an old motel with a lot of deferred maintenance. There have been some cosmetic changes made (this is the part shown in pictures), but the majority of the motel looks to still be very rundown. The stairs by our room wobbled while going down, the guest laundry was out of order (although the dryers looked to be full of hotel towels), and the ice maker by our room was out of order. In our room, there were pincer bugs in the bathroom and no ventilation so the entire bathroom turned into a steam room when the shower was in use. The hallway on the end we were in had 5 cleaning carts stored in it. When walking to breakfast, we walked through the more renovated portion of the motel and were met with the overwhelming smell of dead animal (maybe rats in the walls?). To avoid it, on the way back from breakfast, we walked down a different hallway in the same portion and were again met with the overwhelming smell of dead animal. We walked out the nearest door and returned to our room through the parking lot. While the breakfast had many options, several were empty (yogurt, OJ, etc.) and we needed to ask for forks as they were also out. Overall, our experience was that while some places in the motel appeared to be of high quality, the truth is that it is really nothing more than a poorly maintained, old motel in an almost deserted section of town, the equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig to trick you into thinking it is not a pig.

Great stop on long trip. Great restaurant on site

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel rooms have not been maintained for many years. Everything was very dirty. The carpet was all ripped and torn. The room smelled of mold, smoke and had an extremely musty smell on top of it. The beds were horrible. We did not want to sleep on them or use the pillows!! They spent money on the lobby but nothing on the rooms. We could not get out of there fast enough!

Not a bad stop. Nice town and friend staff. There’s a park nearby which is good for walking the dog.

Clean. Breakfast was ok.

The staff was accommodating. Check-in was very easy. The room was older, and there was no ventilation in the bathroom. I give the room three stars because the bedding was sketchy.

Everything was very clean. Professional and helpful staff on check in and later.

Our room was very clean and beds were comfy. Average 2-double bed room with a seating area for reading. The front desk staff were very kind and inviting. We felt very safe coming and going to our room from the parking lot. There is a pool and hot tub, which my daughter enjoyed. Since this was a quick overnight stay, we did not do much more than eat, swim and sleep--this place was perfect for that. I didn't stay long enough to find anything to dislike about the hotel. Around town there were some cool landmarks to see (like a car with 2 front ends and a giant sumo wrestler statue), but the museum was not inviting, there didn't seem to be much to do with a 10 yr old so we went to the McDonald's Play area before heading back to the hotel for a swim.

Friendly staff good breakfast

The ladies working the hotel were extremely kind and nice however our room wasn't very clean. The bathroom didn't look like it was properly cleaned. There were pubic hairs all in the tub, grime in the sink. The property is dated but I still think this may be the best place to stay in Rawlins after looking around at other hotels.

Staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms were clean no bad odors or anything although the hot tub was out of order and the laundry room is out of order which was inconvenient. Parking outside the front of the room was very helpful.

Wonderful stay

Good food.

Location was good. The room smelled like a wet dog. There were skittles, pretzels and other trash in between the beds and nightstand. Because they let pets in rooms my allergies were awful. I couldn't sleep because I couldn't breathe. The curtains didn't close all the way which let light into the room all night

The rooms were clean, water pressure was great, and the staff was helpful. Good place to stay while passing through town.
