Surfside Inn Redondo Beach

Amazing experience right down the street from evey thing my kids loved it beach walking distance we loved and will return on a vacation and high recommend

The Surfside is an unpretentious and basic motel, but it does this very well. The motel, while dated, appears to be well maintained, the host greeted us with a warm welcome, the room was clean and the beds comfortable. It is four blocks from the beach and it has a great breakfast place "Wildflower Cafe" a short walk away. I highly recommend it.

Room was smelly. Bed was good but the room wasn’t clean.

Motel is in a quiet, almost residential part of town. Staff was cordial, once they came to the office. Room was clean. Heating/Air Conditioning did not work. Room main window was open when I arrived. Had to be kept open to lower temperature to that desired. A thin plastic screen was the only protection should an unauthorized person have wanted to enter the room. No wi-fi password was provided.

The location, free water, parking opportunity, TV Somebody got arrested in front of our door, bad noise cancelling (u can hear everything thats happening outside and vice versa), cleanliness (we found jeans behind our bed that was from previous guests),

Location, location, location. Walkable to so much. The pier, esplanade, shops, restaurants. It could use some updating but I'm not fussy since I spend most of the time out and about. Very clean and comfortable. Stayed a week. Free parking. I would go back. Great value for the money.

CLEAN!!! FRIDGE WAS COLD!!!

The hotel, parking lot and amenities were well kept and clean. The staff was efficient and helpful. My stay was wonderful. I recommend this location to anyone who visits the Southbay area.

No breakfast stayed two nights no house service sheets don’t fit bed properly. No coffee service in the room. No shampoo in shower only hand soap

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was amazing, best sleep my husband and I have ever had!

Went out here for a ride, decide just to stay here. Had no issues, cool little spot. Think its family run. Would stay again.

Check-in was easy, and the staff was knowledgeable in what they were doing. The room was very humid and sticky which you can expect by the beach if the window is wide open. The beds were extremely loud. Just turning sitting down getting up to use the restroom or anything made a loud sound that woke up our seven-year-old son in the bed next to us. There is like a metal under bed cover or frame perhaps? That is extremely squeaky and loud. It honestly sounded like somebody closing a dumpster lid. Guests were coming and going at extremely late hours and had no regard for the people who were sleeping. Even with the window closed it was extremely loud. Parking was difficult for larger vehicles. For reference, I drive a slightly lifted Toyota Tacoma and had a hard time pulling in and parking due to a narrow driveway with parking on both sides. We did encounter a very friendly gentleman as we were checking out who expressed that he would give us a room with a balcony the next time we stayed. It is a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for. If all you are doing is going to the beach all day and then going there to shower and sleep. It is a perfect hotel. For what you pay for a hotel next to the beach, though you should get a little bit more. The other issue we ran into is that the door that secured your room has a very small deadbolt and there was a clear line to the outside of where the door did not seal properly. Not only did this contribute to the church, but make us feel safe.
