Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center

Great location

Location location location. You can not beat parking in the lot and having a pool to jump in and out of coming off the beach. Everything is walkable and there's direct boardwalk access. Room was adequate; other reviews say its loud but i was on the first floor and we had no problems.

Clean room right on the boardwalk. Everything was clean..bed was hard and shower water was cold with no pressure. The location is great though

We loved staying right on the beach and having the nice pool to enjoy in addition to playing in the ocean. The food and service at the Tiki bar and Kiwi Cove were excellent.

Pleasant stay. Clean rooms, great location, comfortable beds. Only downside was my room location which I paid for partial ocean view and had water dripping from pipes running along the top of the balcony so unable to sit outside.

There were tons of flys in our room and the ceiling was peeling off. Room was as very small for paying almost 1200.00 for two nights. Very disappointing experience.

But our room, the air conditioning pretty much stopped working properly! The first night the maintenance was able to get a fan to help make it cooler. The next afternoon it started becoming unbearable (92 degrees). Tried a bigger fan but to no avail, it was horribly hot!!!! We did get to switch rooms at 1030 pm. We would had left that night and asked for a refund of some sort if not! I hope no one gets stuck with that room until they correct the problem!!!!

Room was clean, no view. Staff was great. One elevator to the lobby which was inconvenient. No room service from the attached restaurant,bar. Pool was good when the tweens weren't in it playing football. Pool staff just let them run a muk. Outside waiter sucked.

I booked a room for five people, but they only gave us two towels; when I asked for more, they said there weren't any left... though I did get them an hour later. Then, housekeeping knocked on my door multiple times at 8:00 a.m.

Unfortunately, our first impression was very different because of the front desk employee, Iris. She was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful during check-in. We felt unwelcome from the moment we arrived. We were the only Brown guests in the lobby at the time, while the other guests were Caucasian, and we left with the strong impression that we were treated differently because of our race. Everyone else on the staff made up for that experience with exceptional customer service, and we truly appreciate their kindness and professionalism. I hope management addresses this issue so that every guest receives the same level of respect and courtesy from the moment they walk through the door.

Loved the location!

The location on the boardwalk is great; the rooms are pricey and that is primarily what you are paying for. The staff is very nice and friendly and the room was comfortable. We had 4 breakfasts there which were very good. The 4 dinners were just ok. The pool was full of sand by afternoon, although I know it started out clean. Parking is no extra charge and very convenient at the hotel.

Highly recommend the Atlantic Sands hotel. This was our first time visiting Rehoboth Beach and couldn't have stayed at a nicer place. Our room was immaculate. The housekeeping staff refreshed the room every morning too. There are 2 restaurants on the property including full service at the pool. The pools is terrific. It is adjacent to the boardwalk and faces the ocean. You can spend the day at the beach, walk across the boardwalk to the pool, hose off the sand from your feet and jump right in. Then relax in the sun while enjoying a drink poolside. Parking is easy. There were plenty of spots and we never had an issue finding a spot. We drove off property a couple days for breakfast and to shop in the outlets. We also drove a couple nights to dinner. Whenever we returned there was a spot. However, you don't need to drive. Everything you could want is right there. The best restaurants are a few blocks away. We walked one night to Salt Air and the next night to the Oyster House. We walked to breakfast, and lunch. We also ate at the restaurants at the hotel. A few blocks down the boardwalk is Funland which my family and I enjoyed visiting. We rode the rides including the Haunted Mansion and played the carnival games. Had some Thrashers fries, and Kohr brothers soft serve, fudge at Kilwins, and shopped in all the beach stores. This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. Highly recommend.
