I had a fantastic stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Ridgecrest. The hotel is extremely clean and clearly recently renovated—everything feels fresh and well taken care of. The manager is incredibly kind and helpful, truly going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. You can tell they really care about the experience. The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options to start the day right. Overall, the place is spotless, comfortable, and run by amazing people. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

The outside was old and run down but the rooms were very good. It was like staying in a much more expensive hotel from the inside.

Receptionist Dirty and old looking. Stains everywhere in the room - floors, walls, ceiling. Probably a wet wash would help, or repaint!!! Bedsheets vere not clean at all, they actually looked disgusting, big yellow stains to small im not sure what stains, to dirt stains. Looked like pillow had been on the floor, not a new just put on fresh case. Pillows were huge, lumpy, didn't use those. Freezer made loud noise and gave out heat, suggesting it's also old and works on overload or something. But it worked. One tall floor lamp was not working, but you could manage without it. AC was very very old, haven't seen so old machine anywhere where we have stayed. It was like a tractor, very loud. And you had to switch it on and of manually, so when the noise got to much, you get up and turn it off. When it got too hot again, again get up from bed and turn the tractor on, so no sleep. And that was what we needed after a long drive. Restroom seemed okay, some towels looked very used, few were usable. We didn't use the tv and also didn't wait for the breakfast, left very early as we wanted to be gone from that place. Guy at the front desk was friendly, but really, please deep clean your rooms, throw the ugly sheets and towels out.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were in good shape. A great deal for the price! The only negative thing I'd like to share with the owners: our AC really struggled to cool the room down for several hours because it was 110° and the AC was off when we arrived. It might be good to turn them on at least a couple hours before check in time when there's an extreme heat warning. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

No phone in room and no coffee maker. I called before I booked to make sure there was a hair dryer in the rooms. I was told yes. There was no HD in room but I did get one upon request. Staff is super nice and friendly. Overall stay waa nice. Maybe would not have stayed so lone but we were just to worn out to move around after dealing with family issues. Vert convenient location.

Very friendly & helpful owners who provide great service & great clean value for money rooms. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The bedroom was spotless, clean, and very comfortable. What made this hotel truly special was the owner. He was incredibly welcoming, hands-on, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. He even prepared breakfast himself and made the most delicious fresh waffles. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to every guest made our stay even more memorable. The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was a great selection of fresh fruits, delicious food, beverages, and an ice station, which I especially appreciated because I always enjoy having cold drinks while traveling. Everything was fresh, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, it was a perfect stay. The service was outstanding, the accommodations were immaculate, and the price was unbeatable. This will definitely be my place to stay whenever I visit again. Highly recommended! . Nothing

The man that manages the office was so nice!

I absolutely like the services offered by the owner himself. He was very helpful in many requests, the breakfast wasn't having tons of things but it was very homely with personal touches. Nothing as such. I think the rooms could have been better but you cannot expect so much in that cost.

Genuinely friendly lady. Good size room with solid walls. Good breakfast included for hikers. Tea and coffee in reception. My favourite stay in a while.
