Sundowner Station

Older hotel, rooms were clean.

This place smells like a crack shack from the 60’s. Disgusting. Very very dark and no lighting outside. Felt unsafe. The glass sliding door was left unlocked when we checked in. Just a gross place to stay. Too expensive for the place you get.

Between Expidia and the Inn someone can not do their job. My advice is after you get a reservation confirmation, you need to call the property directly and confirm they have received the reservation.

It was good for what we needed.

We (a family with kids) ended up not even staying at the hotel and losing our money after seeing and smelling the hotel and our room. The whole town was pretty sketchy.

There was no breakfast, but coffee in the room and we have become flexible to eat a little later through the morning. Location was convenient.

Could have been more comfortable with more then two pillows.

For the price it should have had breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The main problem was the stairs, there was no light over the staircase. There were some hanging there but no way to turn them on. They were steep and the top step was to short, my husband had to help me up. The room was dark and the lamp wasn't even plugged in, no place to plug it in.

First floor had good accessibility and parking.

Nice place to stay and close to town

Location was perfect for our overnight stop off the interstate. Staff was lovely and helpful when we had to turn around to retrieve a forgotten device. Property is dated so nonsmoking rooms were clearly smoking rooms a long time ago. Sliding glass doors open to the parking lot, which is convenient but a little peculiar. Beds and pillows are lumpy but soft.

The entire property was very clean. The room, the lobby etc. the bed was VERY comfortable and it was so quiet that night that I didn’t need my earplugs (which I almost always need at some point during a hotel stay). My only complaints are that we only got 3 pillows and they were very small, (half the size of a normal pillow, although they were comfortable) and there weren’t enough outlets by the bed. There was a clock radio on one side with usb plugs and regular plugs, but they wouldn’t charge our phones. 😅😂.Definitely a “no frills” hotel. But I was happy with my stay considering what we paid.

Bathroom was clean. Towels were good. Door to room didn't have a safety latch. Sliding door didn't have a safety bar. Pillows very small (1/3 size of standard pillows) Sheets were wrinkled. Property felt unsafe. Parking lot was dark - and in poor condition. Only area for pet to use to relieve himself was the parking lot. There was no grass or bushes.

GREAT morning breakfast. Full hot meal to start the day. Comfortable beds and room. Pool was not filled, but they were mid-renovations.

We slept in a queen bed which was very soft. The rooms were really clean.

Good place. Enjoyed the stay
