The room and premises were well maintained. We were greeted when we arrived later in the evening which was nice! Very friendly staff!

We usually stay in "higher end" accommodations in our travels, but this location worked out well due to our itinerary. We went to the restaurant at the facility, and walked into a lovely restaurant, with a quiet vibe, extensive menu, superb service, and all tables with starched white tablecloths. My wife started with the lobster bisque. We travel to Maine each year, "famous for lobster dishes," and this bisque was far superior to any lobster items we ever had in Maine. She followed with a Ceasar Salad, and as she put it, "the best she ever had." I ordered the Salmon with a tarragon cream sauce which was as well, the best I ever had! The following morning at check-out. I mentioned to the staff, that I would love to compliment the entire kitchen staff. The Head Chef came out, first complimenting his kitchen team (great leadership), and appreciative that we enjoyed our dinner. together. We have both travelled extensively, domestically and overseas in our airline careers. The reasons we got a suite at this spot was bc of the pool (which was closed) & jacuzzi tub: which was discolored from age & use, and parts of it were broken, plus the drain lever refused to stay down so I had to hold it down for quite some time to get the tub drained. The cushions on the couches & chairs were peeling off. The AC was challenging to turn on, but runs COLD. We went to the bar around 8pm on a Tuesday night. There was 1 person to bartend & serve the entire room. After 15 mins of waiting for the gal to START making my drink, I told her to not worry about it because I was going elsewhere.

We liked the location. Well to start with, we requested our family be placed in rooms next to us, that didn’t happen. When we booked it said breakfast was included, it was not. Plus the pool was freezing. We only played for half an hour cause our kids were too cold. The whole layout of the hotel is more focused on the convention center and not the hotel side.

The restaurant was very good. We had many meals there. Quite a few of us & no problems. Wait staff & cooks all great.
