Great location for main Mayo hospital. Rooms are old and tired looking. Parking is difficult

Most rooms are pretty outdated, not to say old. Location is great. Parking is difficult if you don’t use the $37/day valet parking.

It was fine. The pictures online make it look way nicer than it actually is. Bathroom was tiny! The only thing that was cool, was the little underground mall below the hotel. Unfortunately it was closed the Sunday that we discovered it. But there was no breakfast so I’m not sure why they put in there that there is a full breakfast.?. Would we stay there again, probably not.

Room needs dome drawer storage. No way to unpack for multi day stay. Hanging is okay//folded and underwater have to be out on window sill.

Staff were always friendly and helpful. Hot tub and pool were a plus for me. Did not need to go outside for any of my appointments at Mayo Clinic. Easy access to everything. Lord Essex restaurant has a great breakfast. Highly recommend the Kahler Grand Hotel.

It’s nothing special. It’s like being in an upgraded hospital room. They charge you a $50 incidental fee for I don’t know what? It not like they have a mini bar in the room and who goes to Rochester to party? Most people like me are there to go to the Mayo Clinic. It’s been a week and I’m still waiting to get the $50’s taken off my credit card. I only stayed there because it was convenient and cheaper than other downtown hotels.

What an incredible hotel. From the Valet to the Front Desk, and the restaurants…. INCREDIBLE! The access to downtown and the underground mall are a great treat. Had no idea we could go down the elevator and right j in not Mayo Clinic without going outside! Big bonus!! Do it now! I will be….

Quick stay, room was small, but we just needed a quick stay and ease of access to Mayo. Parking was right there, easy access.

Showers were old and could not maintain temperature. Hair dryer did not work. Requested a king size bed and did not get it. Very disappointing.

We enjoyed our stay at Kahler Grand Hotel. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
