Hampton Inn & Suites Rochester/Henrietta

The towels in our room were slightly dirty however, staff were willing to bring new ones. The cover over our ironing board was also dirty and we ended up using a sheet over it. They could do better with managing their laundry. There is an indoor pool about 5ft in depth which is a nice amenity to enjoy. The breakfast was included and had a small array however, sufficient for cost. They also happily provide some grab and go bags at breakfast which is nice. Parking is just outdoor. There is a McDonalds, Tims and Walmart very close to here which is helpful for road trip stops.

Nice breakfast, swimming pool, and free parking, close to the downtown of Rochester.

We booked a non-smoking room for 2 nights. On arrival, the room smelled of cigarette smoke and when I talked to the front desk about it and switching rooms they said their systems were down and they were unable to do anything with the reservation... also, the amount of trash and goose poop outside the property was disgusting. The other people staying there were very loud and throwing some kind of party outside the property with trash everywhere and no regard to others..

Although it’s not convenient for walking in the historic area or the gallery area of Rochester, it’s very convenient for big box store shopping, which, if you’ve been on the road for a while, you need.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. The pool is nice and so was breakfast. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay in the same hotel for our ride back home.

I travel alot. This is one of my favorite location. This was my 1st stay but definitely not my last. I love the hospitality, cleanliness and environment. Is also a convenient location.

There was a small hand towel shoved into a vent above the bed area, dust build up on the AC unit (that wouldn’t come clean after I tried to wipe it down myself), TV didn’t work properly and the pillows were lumpy. Noticed one of the beds also wasn’t a full queen as it didn’t line up with the headboard. I’m not generally one to complain but while we still spent a decent amount of money to stay here for 1 night, the overall amenities in the room were subpar. The cleanliness was fine but some major updates are needed.

We had 2 rooms. Upon entering the premise it was very welcoming. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. They made sure the 2 rooms were near each other. The rooms were very spacious. They also were very clean, bright and many extras. The complimentary breakfast is always a nice amenity. Thank you for providing a nice, clean and pleasant staff. It was a joy to stay at your establishment. We look forward to staying there tomorrow and 2 more times in August.

I cannot possibly give a positive review when I notified you of my situation- that our flight was canceled for more than 30 hours. How could I stay in New York when I am stuck in Florida, missing my grandson’s Cooperstown Dreams baseball tournament. My reservation should have been canceled and refunded.

Had no issues
