Room was nice, old details are whimsical. Bathroom was open to the room, but OK if you know each other!

What a truly unique building that was enjoyable to stay at the rooms were super cool and huge. Great 21st anniversary

Converted public school, who knew? Very creative and wonderful furnishings. Thought the amenities were fabulous.

The space is amazing! They kept the schoolhouse vibe while making the lofts look modern but not out of place. Will definitely stay again.

A wonderful gem. A unique stay with character coupled with excellent communication. The rooms are open, spacious, and clean and organized. The old classrooms are reworked well into a pleasant stay at a fairly reasonable price. Parking and access was easy and a fair amount you can do on foot nearby. Will stay again!

Beautiful and amazing place!! We( husband and wife and 23 yr old daughter) stayed in the loft room and the room was giant. Daughter stayed in the little loft bed and loved it. Beds were really comfortable. Full sized fridge and stove, really comfortable sofa-we loved it. Lots of cool restaurants and coffee houses around in a fun neighborhood.

The location was amazing. Great restaurants and walkable to everything we wanted to explore. The loft itself was cool and trendy, and we felt secure in our room. I appreciated the coffee and chocolates. There's a lot of little annoying things about this place: - it has a claw foot tub shower on risers in the middle of its own room, very awkward and uncorrectable to use. - there is nowhere to hang towels, so they just sit around damp. - the bed is kind of rickety and noisy and wiggles around when someone moves. - the mattress was the foam type and sinks in the middle. - you can hear some noise from neighbors and from the hall. - you can block light from the outside-facing windows, but not from the hallway. Light sensitive people would need a mask to sleep. - the bathroom only has a sliding glass door, so everyone can hear all noise. - only one side of the bed has a table, lamp, and outlet.

It was very difficult to check-in if it’s after 5:00. We received an email to pre check-in the morning of our stay. We were unable to complete the check-in when we entered all the information but the system did not allow us to complete the check-in. We needed help to receive our codes to enter the exterior doors and another code for the room. It took quite awhile to finally be in our room.

Really unique, cool, and wonderful! The rooms --which are former classrooms -- are enormous. The decor is so interesting and fun -- old TV for decoration (but also a huge TV with every streaming service), the bed is very comfortable, the room is spotlessly clean, and the bathroom is enormous with both a shower and a jetted tub. They will deliver popcorn and other movie-viewing-type snacks to your room. The location is great!

The tub in my room wasn’t the greatest setup. With the curtains closed around the clawfoot tub you can barely move to shower. But overall awesome place! Great st

Great location, really fun concept and design in the halls/open spaces, pet friendly and lots of spots nearby to walk a dog. The larger lofts look like they would have been a nice set up with a good amount of space. We booked a micro loft and I wasn't aware that the bathroom would be in the middle of the room with a toilet facing the bed and no door or privacy curtain or anything! When I asked the front desk about this because surely this was a mistake (no pictures online indicate this setup), they told me that's just how the small rooms are and if I had booked directly on their website I would have seen more photos. I understand that I didn't pay for a large loft, but I think adding a door or some form of privacy to the toilet is a no-brainer for this hotel.

I absolutely love staying here..... it's an old school house, converted into a working production studio space, and loft apartment style hotel rooms. The beds and jetted tubs are luxurious, the thoughtfully decorated rooms retain aspects of the old school and have a beautiful vintage touch. So much creativy and good vibes. The staff is responsive and wonderful. One of my favorite spots to visit:-)

After staying in a “unique” or “historic” hotel in Toronto and it not being so nice, I was really hesitant and worried about my stay in Rochester at the lofts. The outside looked worrisome and the houses surrounding the school are not in great shape. But once inside, the room was absolutely incredible. So spacious and a full apartment perfect for a long term stay. Clean, organized, perfect for a stay. Would have been willing to stay longer just not on the itinerary

Stayed for the comedy show this weekend and it was perfect for a solo trip. Staff was great and the room was clean and well supplied. Will definitely stay here again if I’m ever up again

Absolutely amazing hotel, we loved the room and all the features. We also loved how it was right in the hear of NOTA, and how it was across the street from the Memorial Library.
