Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Rock Falls, IL

Stained sheets, pool wasn’t working, tile loose in room. Run down , needs to updating.

I booked at the rock falls country inn because they advertised a pool and hot tub. I was traveling with my older sister and she needed to continue her water therapy during our stay. However when checking in upon our arrival I was told the pool and hot tub were closed for repair. I was not told this during booking or I would have booked somewhere else. Then on the first night my sister thought to soak in our room’s bathtub thinking it would help her sore muscles. However, there was no plug to use so the tub would hold water. When I called the front desk, I was told they would leave a note for the maintenance man to fix it the next day. It wasn’t u til late afternoon after someone tried to get in our room while we were napping that I was able to ask the staff member I complained to about someone trying to enter our room if he knew when we would get a plug for the tub. He brought one back a short time later.

No elevators. No pool. Hot tub hasn't worked in years.

Everything was great except for a toilet that had not been cleaned or had not been cleaned well. Otherwise, very clean room and great breakfast options.

Breakfast was good.

Breakfast was excellent--plentiful and delicious. Victoria was wonderful. She helped me make my waffle. Front desk personnel, Craig and Kathy, were very helpful and friendly. No hot water for shower! Not enough light for reading/ room was too dark. Not enough hangers and waste baskets. Toilet seat was too small. Elevator was out of service.

Wonderful place to stay they were doing pool renovations that was the only perk we could not use

A special shout-out goes to Christina, the breakfast coordinator. She did an outstanding job keeping the breakfast area clean, well-stocked, and inviting. Her friendly attitude and warm hospitality made each morning a pleasure and truly enhanced our stay. Employees like Christina make a lasting impression and are a great asset to the hotel. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed during our visit while waiting for a new heater to be inspected. While we were sad not to be able to use it, we understand that safety comes first and appreciate the hotel taking the proper steps before reopening it. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again. Thank you to Christina and the entire team for making us feel welcome! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very clean i would live there I love everything quit

Nice restaurant right next door. TV with small bathrooms need updated. Had to ask for new towels.

It's in a great location and my only down fall is that the rooms could use some tweaking and shampoo the carpet and resurface the tubs and replace dresser/tv stand it had damage from the refrigerator and it looked like mold. also pool wasn't in service doing my stay. But those things could be corrected and it would be a great place to stay. The breakfast was great. If I had to stay there again I would. I say this because I use to work in a hotel over eight years in different departments. It takes teamwork and owners to provide what the staff needs to keep things looking good and pay your staff better pay.

Breakfast was very lacking, not the advertised breakfast buffet. The pool & hot tub were closed- which was the reason for staying at this location. Curtains had mystery stains & what looked like blood speckled/dripped on them. The bathroom looked like it was mid update with no towel rack, the door had splatter chunks of what looked like toilet paper, a glob of hair & dust on top on the door frame, the floor had smeared plaster/paint/caulk all over the floor. The exhaust fan made the most terrible sounds to the point we couldn't use it. The lamp between the bed only worked by unplugging/plugging it in, the power button did nothing. The staff was very blah, not personable & didn't seem concerned about the fan and lamp issue. This was a terrible stay & will not be staying again.

Day 1: Attendant stated they did not have any eggs. Would be receiving eggs the next day. Day 2: there was no ham. saud=sage or ham. Overall: Choices were limited. Check-in: Assigned a handicap room. We are not handicapped. Had to requested another non-handicapped room. Second room: Toilet was not as clean as it should have been. Toilet backed up. Notified desk who stated maintenace would be notified. Waited 45 minutes and maintenance did not show up. Returned six hours later and maintenance still did not show up. Overall: toilet paper was never restocked; Had to request at deska and was given rolls that were not full. Body wash and hair conditioner were an eighth full. Wall texture was peeling from ceiling. Credensa doors would not remain closed. Had to use folded up paper to keep closed. There was a different person at the front desk evertime I went by. Had to go to different floor for ice as ice machine on the floor was inoperable.

The entrance when you walk in. Although the bed was comfortable, the cleanliness of the room was disappointment. Toilet was dirty inside the inside and on the seat. The floors didn’t look like it was swept or mopped. The curtain to the window was falling apart. Gnats were flying around.

This hotel was ok it was clean it just really could use some updates ice machine was broke on the 1st floor so you had to go to the 3rd floor to get ice the pool was down all 4 days we were there the breakfast was basic at best and one day there was no eggs the staff was friendly and did the best with what they had.
