Howard Johnson by Wyndham Rock Hill

The room was nice and clean and the ac cooled it off quickly. it would have been bettatr if a breakfast had been offered. Great overall experiencw

Disappointing

The location to the destination for our stay was only 5 minutes away. The front desk was incredible and friendly. There was roaches at least 5 that we had to kill and the beds were old and needed replacement both box springs and mattress.

The house keepers are weird opens the door at 8am , could be sleeping have dressed or not dressed at all and check out it's in until 11:00 a.m. and it's just invasion of privacy. Even with the dnd sign on the door.

Perfect for a single night's stay! Helpful, friendly staff. Nice breakfast!

Clean, nice breakfast, pet friendly. I’ll come stay here again

Price

The staff is so nice truly, the rooms are clean and affordable. Nice and quiet never had any issues. So peaceful

Enjoyed free continental breakfast.

I appreciated the attentive of the staff to keep grounds clean and address any of my questions or concerns. I had an extended stay so there wasn't any consistency with cleaning schedules.

Exceptional

Clean room. Friendly staff When front desk called to check on room, phone was very hard to hear and full of static. And the room smelled stale

The price for 3 full beds was reasonable, the TV worked good, the a/c worked good, the shower pressure was great, & it was quiet. The location was a little scary, there were ants in the bed, crumbs in the drawer, and one of the walls was busted.

Disappointing

The front desk staff was very nice and personable. Probably the only thing that went great during this stay. My reservation was for 2 nights and I only stayed 1. I wish it were none but my significant other was too tired from driving up from Florida to go elsewhere so I begrudgingly sucked it up for the one night. There was mold galore in room 118. All on the ceiling in the bathroom and into the bedroom. The ceiling was also cracked like there was water damage that had occurred from a different room upstairs. It had been patched but not well. There was a crack in the sink counter that had a black spot where I could assume it was mold as well; if not a big burn spot. The couch was dirty, a towel had a brown stain as if it wasn’t cleaned, there was a Mike and Ike sticker over the eye hole, and cigarette burns in the curtain and couch. Terrible cleaning job - this room needs serious attention/repair. I’ve stayed at this property numerous times before and never have I been so grossed out before until now. I understand, you get what you pay for but this was completely disgusting and I will not be back. 1x is enough for me to say never again.
