The woman at the front desk was such a ray of light, both in the afternoon and in the morning. She was smiling and genuinely pleasant and helpful. The property is well maintained and it looked like they really took pride is keeping it up. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure and temp as they should be. Breakfast was really nice, especially for being listed as continental. There were muffins, bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, juices, and a waffle iron. We’d stay again if ever in the area.

They were pet friendly and definitely going back there!!

Clean and ready when we arrived with everything that you need

Have stayed twice now at Glen Cove Inn with my family and once again we enjoyed every minute of it. The staff is super friendly. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The pool was clean and well taken care off. The breakfast on the deck was really great with a nice variety to choose from and the coffee was nice and hot. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Very solid at a great price

We stopped for the night before taking the ferry boat over to the islands. Good food in the area and a peaceful night sleep.

Location is perfect, the service was as advertised and amenities were a little short of expectations.

We had to leave early, before breakfast to catch a plane so no comment on breakfast but were able to grab coffee before breakfast opened. Location was convenient and near towns (Rockport and Rockland) and quiet. Front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. Room was comfortable and everything worked. Only minor detail was that "Kleenex" were not provided. I would describe as "old style charm" which appealed to me.

The WiFi and internet connection could be stronger.

Since they now accept dogs, I had the pleasure of staying there. Wonderful establishment. Will frequent again.

We really loved this motel. Our room was perfect. Comfortable bed and two chairs to sit in with a small table between them. Such a treat to not have to have one person sit on the bed. We had a front porch with two chairs, and a back patio with two chairs, small table, and lovely pond, complete with a Mama Mallard and babies. We are porch people and really enjoyed this feature. I was impressed by how friendly and dedicated the staff was to all details of our stay. Clean room, continental breakfast, and laundry facilities for guests all here. Would I stay here again? The Glen Cove Inn was a lucky discovery on our journey down US 1. The rooms are spread out along the hill in several buildings giving the feel of New England houses. Parking is arranged so that there is only a few steps between car and room. The rooms were attractively decorated with coastal themes. On a clear day there is a glimpse of Penobscott Bay from the parking lot. The grounds are decorated with flower gardens. All the rooms had outdoor seating. Our room had a deck with table and chairs. I would have never found this place without Expedia! A great value!

Our room was very clean and the staff was super friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast was very good. The pool was heated and very well maintained. The property is nice and quiet at night and you felt very safe staying there. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. We highly recommend Glen Cove Inn.

Even more charming than I imagined, and I’ve driven past this hotel for years. The gentleman who runs it was incredibly kind, the room darling, the decor and details storybook like and breakfast one of the best continental you’ll find, making it a perfect spot to stay while I waited for my ferry the next day. I’m staying again this coming week. It is by far the best hotel in the area.
