The property itself is so nice! The views are insane. If you like an “Inn” versus a traditional hotel, you HAVE to stay here. This was a stop on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. We plan to come back.

Island View Inn had very nicely appointed rooms, beautiful grounds and pool and nice views of the ocean. The rooms were large and comfortable and we had a nice patio with view of the ocean. The staff were helpful with recommendations for dinner. I appreciated the coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. My only suggestion would be to offer at least a continental breakfast in the lobby, as there were no options to pick up a breakfast nearby. We had to drive into Rockland to find breakfast options. Otherwise, great stay and I would definitely stay there again!

Highly recommend this property. Beautiful views, well appointed rooms. Views were stunning and the binoculars in the room were a nice touch to see wildlife and boats on the water! Pool is heated.

I really enjoyed staying at this property and look forward to returning. The room was super spacious, the bedding was very comfortable and having a ground floor deck made morning coffee time an absolute delight. Once the weather warmed up, the outdoor pool added a special element to my holiday!

A microwave may have been helpful since there’s so many good food places around and they give large portions. It would’ve been nice to be able to have leftovers… the bed was not comfortable. We both woke up with hurt backs through the whole week in room 112 ..other than that, we were very happy and we will definitely be back..

The view was amazing. The room was beautiful. The coffee was very good in the morning, although a breakfast of some kind would have been even better. When i first arrived, i had to use the restroom after a 4 hour drive, and had to wipe the seat off first as water drops and spray were on it. That was my only complaint and easily fixed.
