Lighthouse Inn At Aransas Bay

I really enjoyed my visit to the Lighthouse Inn. This was my second time to go and cannot wait to go again. Rockport Beach Park is extremely nice. The water is clean and the beach well kept.

Everything was great!! Staff were so helpful and friendly. Hotel and pool areas were clean. Breakfast and restaurant had great food. The only thing was the mini refrigerator in the room didn’t work well.

Clean room, comfortable beds, awesome breakfast bar and friendly staff

The staff was friendly and helpful. Especially the breakfast. It was hot and there was plenty of it. I love when bacon is offered. Don't see that every day but it was a nice treat. The young man working the buffet was very helpful and pleasant. He catered to an older gentleman who needed some assistance. Went out of his way to be helpful to him. Only issue was some wet carpet around the HVAC and refrigerator. Other than that, it was a great stay. Can't beat having a ground floor room to walk right out to the fishing pier and bulkhead. The view and the full moon rising were awesome.

Great place.. very family friendly and perfectly located

The hotel is getting older and the cleanliness wasn’t as good as it could be, but the staff are absolutely wonderful.

This was our second stay at The Lighthouse Inn. It is in our yearly getaway now. I love how kind the staff is. Knowing that we saw some of the same people from when we were there before, simply because they to so love it, tells how wonderful The Lighthouse Inn is. Being able to speak to some of the staff like Miss Olga, was priceless. She is a true servant, and smiles all the time. Was always helping someone in the dining room.

Love the location on the bay, beautiful view from our balcony. Several good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Breakfast is good. Lots of places to sit and relax and enjoy the breeze.

The room was very noisy and there was no shower rail. We ended up leaving before the end of our stay.

This is my second time here. Back to back weekends. Y'all, if you want to go to a place that feels more like going home where everyone at the end of your stay is like family to you, come here! Very safe and quiet. Great area. Lots of places to eat, although the food in the dining room is great, and the bar is great, too. Plenty of coffee and juice and a great hot breakfast. Lots of cereals and yogurts. By the end of this second stay, I knew almost all of the guests, their kids were calling me "Miss Leigh," and giving me hugs, and the adults, esp. the fellow females, were like sisters. If you want to be by yourself, you can do that, too. I am an extrovert, and I like meeting people, swapping stories, and the like. This is a gem in south Texas, for sure!

Overall the rooms were a little outdated but would stay there again. They had coffee/tea all day which was nice and cookies in the afternoon for the children. Everyone was very friendly and great location with its own fishing pier. Lots of good restaurants near by too! My children loved the pool as well.
