Quality Inn Rockport on Aransas Bay

Housekeeping never cleaned our room during our stay. The hotel also offered a very poor breakfast. The hotel's facilities looked old

The room was clean but the floors were not as clean as I expected it may be due to the entry ways being dirty with sand dirt and cigarette butts on the ground in front of the door. Area where the grass was is full of stickers and trash left behind by other people. Area where trash is dumped is open and unsightly. Due to the outside looking like the poor side of town which is poorly maintained made our stay less enjoyable that we left early and went back home didn’t even stay the last night as we felt unclean while there. Staff was friendly and ac in room was cold bathroom and bed clean. Just not a place we would stay again for the price. Disappointed with our choice in booking

We’ve stayed at the Quality Inn several times, for years now. They need to change their name. The QUALITY is not good anymore. The cleanliness of the hotel rooms is unacceptable.

The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was lacking to say the least.

The lady at the front desk was more interested in her phone than helping me and yelled at the people using the waffle maker instead of getting up and going over to help them very rude

Great location but dirty place. They bathroom was not cleaned at all empty shampoo, conditioner bottles and plastic cover for used soap and hair scattered all over.

Floor was clean but never was completely dry I don’t know why but everything else was good.

We enjoyed the short walk to the private pier and the BBQ area with the swings overlooking the pier below and the pool access. Also the size , comfiness and location of the hotel made our stay super nice and relaxing! Hi, we had a great experience as a mom of young littles. There was one bed with dirty sheets (not stained just dirt and hair-may have been from outside air or wrong shuffle of blankets?) but as soon as we told the office they were quick to replace everything and very decent and friendly to deal with. No problems with any staff housekeeping or otherwise. That was our only issue.. the room was cozy and it was so peaceful and fun for us.

The staff, the breakfast, the pool area were all amazing. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, a little bit too firm for my style. And the room felt a little warm. I think if we had access to a fan, it would’ve been perfect.

I always choose this one during holidays it’s not too packed and the pier is my favorite.

The cordial overnight clerk. The handicapped room you can't park in front of. The false advertisements, no hot tub, no room service, non-smoking property. Reported to the front desk immediately about the room we put in special request for the ground floor to where we could park and walk in due to my wife's cancer. The room we were giving had to walk far to it. Through the smokers, smoke on a property that is supposed to be smoke-free. Was very dissatisfied. The next morning, Sarah was rude because she had already heard from previous workers that we were upset about the room, the smoking, no hot tub, no room service and etc. Seems if she already heard it, then maybe she should have advised them to offer another room. Realistically, we knew a hot tub couldn't be put in immediately. We requested our money back. We went through booking.com. PK, the owner, was supposed to be handling this. Also, Sarah shouldn't involve housekeeping and giving our information out. She also took my wife's information and put it in because my wife told her she would contact everyone, due to you can't do false advertising. So Sarah fixed it to where she can't respond. Brook was at motel 6, so I waited on her. Finally, I asked again about Brook, and she called in sick because she was so stressed between the two hotels she couldn't handle it. We asked for our money back and are still waiting to hear from PK,Brook, or Sarah about our refund. Sarah needs a break, too, working 3 shifts in a row. And the overnight guy deserves a raise he had good manners. And why can't there be hot breakfast every day? Your employees come in punch in and eat the snack drinks and breakfast too. They also hang out in the office and on their personal cell phones while on the clock. That is called theft of payroll. And I can keep going...return our money. Train your staff properly, and customer service is the key. And the private pier is not secured heavy winds wide open.
