I always enjoy the pool and DJ, and I liked the room and the view I had this visit. I love the breakfast, but not the price. I also don't like that valet and parking is so high.

It was our wedding anniversary staycation, it was quiet and lovely, the view of the pool over looking the lake from our window was romantic. The hotel is quite sophisticated, Professional staff. Breakfast 5 star quality and tasty. Overall experience is satisfactory. Would like to come back with the kids.

My husband and I were celebrating our 20-year anniversary and wanted a staycation near our home. The Rockwall/Lakefront area is a nice area, and I fell in love with it the first time I visited due to the water; they have live music occasionally, many places to eat, etc. We decided to book this hotel for two days and paid extra for a lakefront view. Sadly, we didn’t enjoy our stay here. I’ll start with the positives: the check-in was a breeze. When we got to our room, we could view the lake, but the view was obstructed by a gazebo or something that was attached to the building. The room was not worth paying $100 extra for. Then when I inspected the room, it had not been thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom was dirty. You also get charged for everything: WiFi, parking, and breakfast. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Comfy lobby area Day staff helpful Minus: Nite staff and valet---had to wait 15 min for valet to take care and get in at night. Traffic jam with cars in front parked or not moving? Finally found a desk clerk who seemed nonchalant in getting valet until firm in request. Bar service slow at 9:30 and a bit snippy when asked for a menu. Day staff very helpful and pleasant
