We liked the fact that while everything was new and up to date, there was that nostalgic feeling of older hotels. We wouldn't change a thing. BTW, the in house restaurant was one of the best we've ever been in.

I love the time period decor and all the snacks I wish more stores were open in little town

Hale Springs Inn – Rogersville, TN: A Charming Historic Stay with a Few Quirks Hale Springs Inn is a lovely historic property in downtown Rogersville, and its age is very much part of its appeal. The building’s character shows in the original wood floors—especially on the first floor near the dining area—which are no longer perfectly level or smooth. It’s the kind of detail that reminds you you’re staying somewhere with real history rather than a modern cookie‑cutter hotel. ?️ Room & Comfort We stayed in the Hale Room on the second floor. It was modestly but very nicely decorated, and everything we saw throughout the Inn was impressively clean. The room had two comfortable queen beds, and the adjustable air conditioning kept things cool even in the summer heat. One small drawback: electrical outlets near the beds are limited. Adding a couple more outlets or USB charging ports would make the room even more convenient. The bathroom’s Exhaust Fan was the biggest concern. It’s Extremely Loud, and since the light and fan share a single switch, you can’t turn one on without the other. A separate switch would be a welcome improvement. Also, be mindful of the old‑style door knobs and the tight clearance between the knob and the frame—I managed to pinch a finger. Again, part of the charm, but worth noting. ? Amenities The TV and internet froze briefly a couple of times during our stay, but it wasn’t a major issue. Breakfast was small but pleasant: yogurt, fresh fruit, and what tasted like freshly made sausage biscuits and blueberry scones. The only disappointment was the coffee from the machine—it was very bland. Fortunately, there’s a coffeehouse right across the street that’s a much better option. ?️ Dining & Bar The restaurant on the first floor serves good food with some unique menu items, and the bar is a cozy spot where you can also order food. It adds a nice social element to the Inn. Loud bathroom exhaust fan.

Breakfast seemed very limited for such a great place. Lacked typical items i.e. scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal and sugar-free food for diabetics. The breakfast room was very small and guests had to walk through it to get on the elevator.

Location was perfect. Spacious room. Beautiful historical building!! We were in Bulls Gap for a horse show. Our days start early. We were disappointed that the breakfast was not served until 8.

This was a lovely place to stay for a wedding related trip to Rogersville. It is conveniently located and has wonderful, historic charm. Our room “The Browns” was clean and very comfortable. The check in and check out procedure was easy and the Desk Clerk was very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend a stay here!

A beautiful historical hotel that made us feel like we were in the 1800’s. We loved the decor, the friendly staff, the restaurant and bar, the lovely town and the way we were spoiled. We highly recommend this hotel and the whole experience. It’s hard to find hospitality like this anymore!

Loved the property. The friends were very nice and spacious. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was less than to be desired. But there is an awesome coffee shop directly across the street.
-
We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the in-house restaurant was great! Easy walk to quaint shops.

Nice room friendly staff
-
The room was equipped with everything we needed. We were within walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. We could hear a lot of street noise at night.

Breakfast was not much.won’t stay there again
-
The continental breakfast was very good. There were many selections to choose from , be it hot or cold items. The location was very convenient, right in downtown. Other restaurants are just a short walk away. would like to have had darker shades on the windows over the patio since the outdoor lights remain on all night and the room (Hale) stays well lit.

Breakfast was good. The staff friendly. Bar closes too early.
