Location was great but property has a strong cigarette smell at least the floor we were in 4 fl. Tub and sink was clogged , night lamp on one side didn’t work, stain on the sheet.
-
The hotel was very clean. Used the pool and it was well maintained. No issues. Would stay again if I needed to.

Breakfast was less than desirable. Your choices are: waffles (though the batter ran out and wasn’t refilled), watery eggs, sausage links, toast, and two kinds of cereal. Fine for one day, got very old for four in a row.

This place has been in Rome a long time. The fixtures in the room were rusted as was the hairdryer (with a busted power cord), the paint was very streaky and running down the walls. Room smelled old and musky as did everywhere in the place. The office chairs had cigarette burns on it in a non smoking room. The phone had numbers on it from a resort in Orlando, didn’t even change it out. We checked out a day early and went somewhere else. Will not stay here again.

The hotel was a little run down but it was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty lame but the biggest problem I had was that they had no sugar for coffee in the morning. They knew they were out and could only say "I'm sorry" Not enough and they didn't seem too concerned. There is a grocery store just next door and they could have walked over and bought sugar since they were aware of being out!

There was rust on every chrome fixture in the room, which could be a health issue. The granite counter top was broken.

The carpet in the room smells old…
-
The property is showing its age. The carpet is a bit outdated and had an “old” smell. Not bad, I’d stay here again, but the old hotel need some freshening up. Staff was great.

Dirty rooms! Sticky carpet. Dirty bathtubs. Dirty walls. The furniture was falling a part. This hotel needs a big renovation. Definitely not suitable for kids.

The building was painted black and looked nothing like the photos. I booked this hotel primarily because the swimming pool looked decent. The actual pool looked nothing like the one in the picture. it was run down and looked like they spread cement to cover up the existing tile that was there. Thought I was staying in a trailer park. I’m not picky by any means, but the pictures are deceitful. I would give less than 2 stars but the room and staff was acceptable.

I initially like everything the minor upgrades you can tell was made to the hotel and the location to everything in town was great. The last day at 11:02am a man walked into my room. Without knocking. We were packed to go hubby was in the bathroom. He says he was sent to check if we have left yet. Check out time was 11 am. He made up excuses instead apologizing and was not leaving the room until I grabbed the door. When trying to file a complaint at front desk for him just walking into the room. He was confrontational. Very unprofessional and I felt uncomfortable and scared when he walked into the room.. also realize I had been bitten by bed bugs
