Best Western Plus Wausau/Rothschild Hotel

The building is older but they’ve been making upgrades, both outside and inside. The only thing that needs to be updated is cell phone/tablet outlets otherwise everything was good.

Hot tub was not hot, about 70 degrees. Asked staff, he said he did not anything about the hot tub…. ??

The entire property was extremely clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was nicely presented and kept orderly throughout. The only two complaints i have would be that the TV was in Spanish speaking mode and I could not figure out how to return it to English and that we were told that if we wanted to check in an hour early we would be charged an extra $30.

We loved the breakfast and the coffee machine that can make all kinds of coffees and teas any time is a dream come true! very nice staff! We also liked our spacious and clean room and the kitchen in the room with full size fridge and stove was amazing and very helpful!! it is a rear thing to have in the hotel. I would replace that old chair at the desk in the room -- it makes it look outdated. I liked that i could open our window to have fresh air. Overall it ws a very nice stay. Thank you!

Very well maintained and clean property. The mattress was very comfortable.

The room was clean, the furniture was well worn and the bed was hard as a rock. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was hot and different, had a good assortment of breakfast foods to choose from. I just like a comfortable bed to sleep in when traveling and that is why my rating is lower, otherwise would have been 4 stars if not for the furnishings.

We ate at convention. K-cups replacement in room for second night. They were out of stock. We also didn't realized room not service unless requested.

Everything was excellent.We were there for our anniversary. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was tasty. I will definitely recommend it to anyone that travels to Wisconsin. The bed was very comfortable. It seemed to be in a safe area. We especially liked the breakfast staff person.

Very friendly staff … quiet atmosphere but just a little bit difficult understanding what the front desk person was saying but he patiently repeated himself. .

Room was clean and had everything needed for traveling. Fridge had working ice machine, which was nice. Breakfast had many options, and lobby had warm drink machine with 24hr access. Front desk had snack and make in your room meal options.

Loved the suites with the kitchen and everything was clean and well maintained Everything was great

Beds were incredibly comfy. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The coffee machine you have in the lobby was incredibly good for being available all day. Pool and whirlpool were the perfect temperature. Minor nitpicks: one of our rooms had some dirt on the door that was missed in cleaning and had a bag over the smoke detector that wasn't removed.

The hotel was very clean and well kept; the rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful; we even met the owner in the elevator, and he was very friendly and made the trip experience that much better. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recommend anyone to stay here.
