Bed was a bit lumpy as well. Everything else was fine.

Also, I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. While undoing the beds before checkout i noticed a bottle of barqs root beer that had definitely been hidden underneath the headboard/behind the mattress and had been there for quite some time. While my 9 year old played with my 2 yearold she also noticed several things that made her a little grossed out as well. It's like the cleaning staff paid attention to the big things and none of the small details.

Good location. Easy in and out. Good basic hotel and a great value for the Chicago suburbs.

The TV wouldn’t work and the chlorine in the pool changed the color of my swimming suit. The night crew didn’t seem to care much when we told them.

Customer service was perfect

Flight in was early, asked for early check in not available. Restaurant was doing my stay.

Every thing was pleasent,good location Applebees is a minute walk which helps even though the food is nothing to get excited about staff is very freindly,good tasting warm cookies and coffeevin the lobby

Didn’t get the room we paid for. Hotel was booked solid with groups of cheer and hockey families. That’s to be expected this time of year, not an issue. Clearly gave away the room we booked though. Got the run around about it’s what Expedia put through and it was not on their end. It’s because we used a third party booking service is what they said. Tried to get into the room we paid for and got the deer in the headlights look from the front desk. Whatever, I’ve booked through Expedia a lot and have never had an issue. Hotel was busy which is to be expected, but the parents of these groups were having parties in every area of the hotel. Front lobby, hallways, you name it. Nothing like tons of unsupervised kids running around while their parents are getting wasted off crap beer. Literally setting up tables for food and drinks by the elevators setting up chairs and drinking all night. Not ideal when you are staying in a room right by the elevator. Hotel restaurant was horrible. Burger was essentially raw. Pancakes were runny with batter. That’s a first and I’ve been eating and cooking pancakes for almost 50 years. If you like foodborne illness and inconsiderate guests this is the place for you.

Nice staff but building is a bit dated. Breakfast unavailable Sunday and Monday during our stay. Pool area was decent, there were towels but hot tub was tepid. Location close enough to Granite Peak and other amenities. Decent.

The room and hotel was clean and nice but no complimentary breakfast was a deal breaker. I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inn hotels and they had a breakfast. That restaurant is way too expensive especially after the price of the room

Tv in the room didnt work and after telling the front desk 3 times he finally come up to look at it and tried resetting it he had to leave while it was restarting he said he would be right back and never come back
