I booked a double queen room with a couch. Flawless checkin. Got to room…couch was MIA, lol so desk clerk brought up another key and we moved down the hall. After getting settled, hubby noticed the new coffee pot did not use kcups but the coffee provided was kcups. Thankfully I was taking a keurig on our trip so I just went to the car and got it. Only other inconvenience was bathtub soap dispenser on the wall and no bar soap. Impossible to reach while sitting in tub. Other than these few hiccups, place was nice and staff was awesome.

The tv in my room wasn’t working. After settling in, with several people coming to check the tv, I was told I had to switch rooms.

Overall, the hotel is nice. But the beds were not comfortable. The breakfast IS NOT free, you have to pay 9.99 plus tax for it and it is NOTHING special. It is your basic hotel breakfast, there was yogurt but very little “fruit” and no granola. There were only 3 cereals to choose from and milk was out (which was refilled upon requesting the lady who takes the tickets who sat at a table in front of the breakfast area on her phone and drinking coffee). Only orange juice and water to choose from. The refrigerator took about 12+ hours to cool, so don’t anticipate bringing left overs and storing them in the fridge (like we did our first night).

It was fine other than my card being charged nightly.

Refrigerator in room did not work. I was moved into a second room and that one didn't work either. Blankets were paper thin and hotel overall appeared dirty. Hotel staff charged my personal credit card for the room stay despite the room being paid direct bill to the Railroad Commission of Texas. I'm still trying to get it sorted out. Will not book here again.

Very clean and staff was pleasant and attentive. The breakfast was excellent. It was very noisy and we could constantly hear people thumping around above us until 1 AM in the morning and running down the hall. This is clearly a wood structure with not enough insulation. It led to a poor night sleep.
