Hampton Inn Ruston

Over priced

I’m totally happy with this hotel, staff, food, and most importantly, how clean and well maintained it was. I would highly recommend this Hotel in Ruston, LA.

Some rooms had hot water and others did not

The room was very humid, like the carpet felt wet. The AC would blow cold air but humid air. So we felt cold and wet the entire time.

Floors and rooms need remodeling

When we arrived, our room was changed from. King to 2 queens. The toilet didn’t work properly so going to the bathroom was a challenge. Breakfast was from 6-9 am. Got there around 8am but there was no breakfast, it was all gone. Never again will we stay there.

Receptionist was great at our check in. Overall, I don't recommend staying here. We don't often stay at Hampton Inns but this one has seen better days. I'm guessing because of so much college related traffic. The bed did not sleep well and had bed rails sticking out from under the mattress 6" that would cut someone's legs if not paying attention. We stacked the extra pillows to avoid the rails. Also, reserved a King Non-smoking and we received a double bed. Not the end of the world but not what we reserved and just too tired of traveling to discuss. We just expected better for the money.

Location and pet friendly. Had a destination Tesla charger. One Tesla charger was not enough.

Breakfast and location were fine 3 major complaints- 1) The property was filthy! Rooms and hallways smelled like mold! 2) The ceiling above the shower actually fell into the tub while we were tried to shower! 3) The tv did not work.

Desk Chair broken, Wifi so slow it was almost unusable, holes in curtains, dead roach in bathroom, towel rack fell off the wall. Would not recommend

Very clean and quiet. Both ladies were courteous and friendly. I wish I could remember the names. Night time and early morning ( 3 am )

N/a The corridors were never cleaned through out our stay. We continued to walk over the same used toilet paper and candy wrappers. Also, there was a bad order in the corridor near room in the 230s. The dust was thick on the hanging blinds...the property could have been better cleaned.

Friendly staff and nice sleep

This place couldn’t single handedly destroy Hilton’s brand identity! The room smelled terrible, furniture so stained and dirty we did not sit on it. Room was dark and one major light fixture was inoperative. The place is over 25 years old and the carpet is the original. It would take that long to get that nasty. We will NEVER consider staying there again. We moved after on e night even though we had paid for another. No excuse for this place!
