No water in the pool. One big reason we chose this hotel. Slant walk in front of door on second level walk way. Dirty and old looking Space is Smaller than in pictures Curtain doesn’t cover the window Bathroom door doesn’t close without a lot of effort Breakfast cereal looked like it was sitting for days or weeks Ceiling a mess, bubbled paint in the lobby unfinished ceiling painting in the room. Sign and chairs dirty

I was told the king room had a non-working cable box. They down graded me to a queen for the same price because it had pullout sofa....who's sleeping on it, it's just me. The paint on the doors to the bathroom and entrance to room was badly chipped. The sheets had permanent stains. The guy at the front desk was no help, made me feel as if I was interrupting his reel on Facebook. When I got there, there were kids all on the backside and then I see the guy from the desk driving off, and he threw an empty beer can over the fence. Getting to the 2nd level was also a suprise since the walkway to your room was pointed downward. Lastly, the office area smells of mold and mildew, and throughout the lobby is multiple areas of hanging ceiling.

Clean and cheap. Perfect for a one night stay.

Never stayed they were nasty.

Fairly clean, but could use repairs. My cousin actually fell in the shower due to bottom being worn and misshapen.

I have stayed here before; it's a good place to get some sleep after spending a day at Kings Dominion. They have really been fixing up the place; it looks good, but there's still more to do. I would stay again. That it list they have a pool, and its not filled.

I didn’t get to stay because I didn’t have the 50 dollar holding fee

Was not happy with this hotel when we got there the pool was not able to be used. It was empty. The breakfast area has no breakfast at all. If you’re just looking for a night to sleep that’s all then it’s OK but nothing else is good for this.

Great place to stay the night. Property was well kept for a budget place. The shower was hot and the beds were comfortable. It is very close to Kings Dominion Park. It also included a small breakfast. I would stay again in the future.

Disappointing

The lobby where you check in is not inviting, I have never walked into a lobby at a hotel and seen such a disarray. The staff was extremely nice so its mixed reviews. The grass was not cut and pretty high, there is a pool but no water in it. Parking was a bit questionable but nothing bad happened. We were in the area visiting family so we were not there much but there was always people out in the parking lot or standing outside their room. (We were visiting family so we left in the morning and came back around 10pm and midnight) There was 2 bath towels and a wash cloth, I did get 2 more towels but the same day we got those I guess the cleaning lady came in and took the 2 we had hanging to dry. I had to ask for a hair dryer, and the door to our room was another issue, couldn't get in, you had to use your shoulder to push it open and to close it once inside. When we return to visit our family we won't be staying there. I hate to leave this review but I am a honest person. This place needs a overhaul. No pretty landscaping nothing clean and crisp. It definitely was intimidating.

Bad

I booked 2 rooms Saturday Aug 1st 2026 As soon as I walked in I seen 2 cockroaches on the AC unit, 1 adult and 1 baby. For the 2nd room my brother inlaw found cockroaches in the bathroom. We left the rooms and turn in the key cards, I have to wait 7-10 business days for a refund. It says its a hotel online but looks like a low budget motel.

Room was clean, but bedding had stains and holes. No water in pool. Grass is overgrown. Room next to us kept smoking weed and filling up our room with our kids in it. Staff was nice.
