Lions Gate Hotel

Had a stop over stay to catch a baseball game, lions gate was perfect, nice room for a great rate, excellent breakfast. Would stay again and highly recommend.

The pool was under maintenance which was frustrating as it was a bummer because I was hoping to enjoy some downtime by the pool. I ate dinner at the restaurant one night and the server was quite honestly acting like the whole restaurant was full to the brim and they were the only one working, it wasn’t busy for the record. Trying to get them to respond was a joke. Food was mediocre. Wouldn’t eat there again merely because that server was so awful.

Every aspect of my stay was great

Very poor

Very pretty , cool history Was looking forward to the hot tub; already paid for and at arrival was told hot tub was broken… wish I had know prior to booking.

Great breakfast and loved the entertainment too. First room - windows could not open, second floor and it too stuffy. Staff relocated my room and all was great.

It's the only place we stay at when we're in Sacramento

The free breakfast was amazing! The hotel room was very clean, I just didn't realize it was on an old airforce base. My partner liked it, seeing as he is ex military. He really liked the feeling of being back in the barracks The lack of towels and sheets, it can get pretty cold in those rooms. An extra blanket would have been nice. Also 4 pillows would be good, not just 3. Comes in handy when you're sleeping with your partner in the same bed. The towels could be a little more too.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. There was nothing major I disliked, although the bathroom could use some updates. For example, there was no handheld shower or separate tap, only an overhead shower, which was inconvenient for my wife. Guests who prefer not to get their hair wet while showering may find this setup uncomfortable.

A disgusting place! The main building looks okay in the photos, but the buildings with the guest rooms are a nightmare! Filth and a terrible stench. A disgusting place! The main building looks okay in the photos, but the buildings with the guest rooms are a nightmare! Filth and a terrible stench.

Large room in Manor House, quiet and clean. Buffet breakfast has a little something for everybody to start the day. Staff friendly and helpful with tips where to access best. Will be back!

Breakfast was decent Staff was nice Not a five star hotel but it was quiet and clean Good for the price Pool was closed which was a bummer and the elevator was down

I like this hotel location & environment, its really quite & peaceful. I really concerned about the parking safety to park the car over when because I moving from WA to CA, I have carried cargo luggages on my SUV, hence when I arrival the hotel, the environment & the front confirmed that the hotel parking lot is camera & security patrol around my concern was release, the matress comfortable, we have a plseasant night able to recharged energy at this hotel, I highly recommend this hotel specially for someone moving with cargo luggages. Only the front desk unable to help me with local information because they are local residenrs

Staff was super nice. Breakfast was great

Quiet and felt safe. Wall art in room was really cool. Hotel room was modified since it is over 50 years old but not the most practical setup. Had small kitchen with stove but no utensils or dinnerware. Upgrades to room were kinda cheaply done. In wall air condoned instead of HVAQ system.

I like how they have security 24/7 it makes it feel safer.

Bad

Location, staff very helpful Limited Parking

The stuffs are nice and room is clean. A stuff who processed my check in. I told her my safety concern as I was traveling alone. She gave me a room nearby the checking in building. Felt safe. Thank you. No walking distance for restaurant
