Marriott Saddle Brook

I made reservations a month in advance for two queen beds. I was told during check in that only one king bed was available during my stay. The receptionist was only supposed to charge my card for incidentals. However, she charged me $406 instead. Once I addressed this issue, i was told by another staff that it was a “mistake”. The staff was rude and not helpful at all. Our hot water was not working as well. I will no longer consider Saddlebrook Marriott when I travel to this state again.

Then when we woke up, I wanted to order coffee and food. Again, no menu or reading materials present in room. I went to TV directory and menu unavailable for room service or restaurant. I had to get dressed and go down to the restaurant and order coffee and breakfast. Inconvenient once again. There should be proper instructions for parking and for hotel services readily available in room. This was very disappointing. We have stayed here before and this was not the same enjoyable experience we have had in the past.

Found a roach in the room and saw them outside by the benches, shower Handel loose, sink Handel hits glass when in use, potential for damage our harm if it broke. Parking cost $10 per night but motel not responsible for theft, Why?

didn't really care for the staff, weren't welcoming. and dint give me the proper room.

We went to NJ for wedding ceremony. We checked in to the hotel. The bathroom door...was locked or we were not able to to open. We called the receptionist and they never showed up. We had no choice to just get dress to check out.

Make sure those blankets are clean , it had a yellow stain and we also saw a cockroach .

You have to pay for WiFi and pay for parking, but overall good experience

There were cockroaches in the room and they have refused compensation because i didnt take a picture…all the other rooms have had the same issue with cockroaches…who accepte spendin thwt much money to see big cockroaches in the room

The rooms were disgusting, and the air conditioning didn’t work. When you flushed the toilet it made a loud buzzing noise for about 5 minutes. Also the room was supposed to be ready at 3, since that’s when check in was but it wasn’t. They made us wait over 30 mins for a room and didn’t even apologize. Hotel was gross, and the staff was rude.

I booked a room for 2 people for 4 days, paid all and when the other person arrived there was charged double. From the chat from expedia with Marriott never got an answer back. Had to call couple times and then a young lady helped us with the refund.

We visited Saddle Brook for DreamWorks Water Park, and the hotel was conveniently located near the mall. The room was spotlessly clean and quiet at night, providing a comfortable and restful sleep.

The carpet from the hallway it was dirty. At least the room is updated and clean! We ordered Chicken wings at the bar and were good.

Nice clean and big rooms, comfortable beds. The only negative point would be the paid parking which should be included in the room price and not separately.

I had a pleasant stay. Staff on top of the room needs, very friendly, good amount of parking lots. No complain :)

Not worth the price, you have to pay for parking, wifi, everything is an additional cost. The beds were definitely not a king size and didn’t smell clean had faint smoke smell
