Hampton Inn & Suites St. Augustine-Vilano Beach

Attended an army reunion and we were all staying here. Location and proximity to activities perfect Fire alarm went off in the morning two days in a row, no fires and the issue was handled quickly by personnel and fire department. Not a complaint really glad they were working. There was no fire to be clear just a faulty sensor.

Ocean view room Toilet did not flush, but was given a plunger for our ocean view room. Ocean view rooms hallways had stained carpet and smelled. Saturday morning fire alarms continually went off with fire department showing up due to free breakfast cooking (that is our guess since hotel did not inform guest) and out of order signs on ice mailchines. Paid extra for Ocean view room that was musty with dirty carpet, musty dirty smelling couch in living room and old dirt/moldy stuff around baseboards. 2 light switches did not work. All USB chargers did not work in room. Funny that a steam cleaner sat in the hallway, yet the carpets were not cleaned.

Location was perfect Staff was perfect It was clean Bed was very comfortable Only down side is I wish they would alternate breakfast items more. It was egg, potatoes and sausage every morning we were here. Atleast trade out for some bacon Other than that this is our go to hotel for st Augustine we loved every minute !!

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious, and the location is phenomenal. You are steps away from the beach and across the street from a fantastic Publix and cute shops.

AT 2:30 AM NEXT ROOM PEOPLE WERE TALKING SO LOUD THAT WE WERE AWAKEN AND HAD TO CALL THE FRONT DESK TO INTERVENE. WE HAVE STAYED IN MANY MANY HAMPTON INNS AND THIS STAY WAS JUST AVERAGE. OUR PURPOSE WAS NOT TO GO TO THE BEACH AND THE PROPERTY'S PROXIMITY TO THE BEACH WOULD BE QUITE IDEAL FOR BEACH GOERS.

Our room never got cleaned. We were only there 2 nights so mayb

Great hotel on the beach. Walking distance to every thing you need. Will stay again in the future.

Room had a terrible smell, smelt like mold

Property was dirty , room was small, area not great , lots of people smoking, front desk attendant gave me wrong directions to the room and forgot to inform me about hang tag for the car. We did not use the pool. Ate at surfside kitchen and really enjoyed the food and service. Breakfast buffet at the hotel was average.

The location is pretty great, steps from the ocean and local shops and restaurants Parking is expensive and overcrowded, parking spaces are not always available overnight . Guest services within the hotel could be more attentive and accessible.’not meet my expectations . Helpful and friendly

The breakfast had a good variety. The staff was always polite and very helpful. The room was cleaned daily. The shower was a little small.

The 1st and 2nd floor rooms stunk so bad that I literally threw up.
