We reported the issue immediately. Maintenance looked at the unit, left, and nothing changed. The next day, maintenance checked it again with the exact same result. By the third day, we asked to switch rooms and were told one would be available later — which turned out to be completely false. When we followed up, the front desk denied ever offering a room transfer and treated us as if we were making it up. Being spoken to in a dismissive, accusatory manner is unacceptable. Throughout the week, we were repeatedly told “it’s hot outside,” as if that somehow excused a non‑functioning A/C unit in a hotel room in Florida in July. This response was insulting and showed a complete lack of professionalism. Even after a portable A/C unit was placed in the room — and after we purchased our own fan just to make the room tolerable — the thermostat never reached the setpoint of 70 degrees. Meanwhile, the weight room sat at 84–86 degrees, the hallways around 78–79, and the elevator landing was just as bad. This is not an isolated issue; it is a property‑wide failure. The front desk’s behavior made it seem like we were unreasonable every time we talked to them.

It was clean, great breakfast options, close to the beach walking distance, everyone was friendly and helpful, highly recommend to stay , just a drive across the bridge and you are downtown Saint Augustine

Location Ac was out and there was a portable ac that was not safely plugged in and vented out the balcony. The balcony was flooded as well. I asked to be moved into a different room and was told there was no other room available.

Only complaint is the mandatory, expensive valet parking

If they warn you about the valet parking, they just kind of pop that up on you. You should know before you pay.

The day shift front clerk was great at her job and personality. Miguel the bartender makes the best mojitos in the whole area. That’s all I have to say.

We loved the large room. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The mattress was way too soft. It seemed worn out. It was extremely uncomfortable.
