Charming outdoors theme. Our 3rd floor Wilderness Lodge suite with separate living area and huge bedroom was spacious! The outdoor deck facing the garden area with ponds full of koy fish and a nice waterfall was great to sit on. The large hottub in our room was so relaxing and private too.

There was a damaged counter top in our room along with peeling wallpaper. The bed sank in the middle making you sleep in a “V” position. There was a whole in the carpet that leads into the breakfast area. The Sauna was out of order. The pillars were worn away at the bottom near the pool area. I started to take pictures, however I figured that it probably would be a waste of my time. The whole place needs a going over.

Amazing breakfast and rooms

It was ultimately okayish. Noticed immediately the ceiling in the bathroom had a large crack in it that had been previously "repaired" you could see the dry wall tape and several holes and gaps where it crumbled out, peeling wall paper in the main room, and our toilet ran nonstop which was rather annoying. Also noticed the sink in the bathroom was coming unattached from the underside of the counter leaving a pretty big gap.

The front dest worker was very helpful with advice of parking by the side door. I am disabled and it made it easier for me to get to my room.

Nice place to stay, it was one of the cheaper options which was why I picked it. Breakfast was good.

Extremely spacious room with a cozy bed, hot breakfast, and helpful staff. I slept extremely well, and was able to hit the road with a full belly.

We love this place and are still trying to give it a chance. They really need to do a deep clean of the place. Lots of dust in the room. Food was decent for someone that is gluten free.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The property was well cleaned and maintained. The aesthetics were on point for a nice western cabin feel. The pool was indoor/outdoor. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to spend a few days in St. Joe, MO! We look forward to utilizing it again if we are ever back this way.

The room we stayed in wasn’t as bad as the hallway and stairs as they were the area’s that needed hoovered but hey if you don’t have the staff it’s understandable, sorry I wouldn’t stop here again
