Chill property with amenities like range and full size fridge

I experienced dog pop on the grass, the property had people wondering around that seemed to be from the streets. I will never stay there again. I actually had a 2 night stay that I paid for and decided to leave the property after the first night.

Transient, murder room. Couldn’t stay. Took one look and ran back to the car. There wasn’t even a bed frame. Just a cot. Horrible. Orbitz shouldn’t even list this property on their site. None of the photos matched. Door had been previously preyed open damaging the door frame. Inside the door was a red smudge stain… blood. I don’t know. I don’t want to know. Help get me out of here.

The rooms were clean, however run down would be a good word for the condition. The beds are perfectly clean, the wifi is fast, and the AC is good. Everything else is in a bit of disrepair. Granted, it is a very good price point, so a decent value stay.

Smell of cigarettes and homeless people outside

I’d prefer someone call me I have a list of grievances
-
otherwise the room was pretty good.

Inexpensive place to stay if you are on the road and just looking for a place to crash for the night. Overall cleanliness was good but housekeeping forgot to clean the sink..yuk.

Staff is always nice and respectful. Sometimes the neighbors nextdoor would be very loud even during the night and banging on the wall. Making it hard for me to get good rest. Also some neighbors would play very loud bass music that would thump through to my room. I could feel it through my bed. I have a bad back not good for me.

In our room, there was a used bar of soap in the shower, and I could hardly sleep due to the excessive noise and people stomping on the stairs at all hours.
-
Room smelled, bathroom not clean (hair on toilet). Towels were old and worn.
-
The price was great, however I can see why it was so inexpensive. The rooms were not very clean. Tons of flies flying around. The floor was so dirty. And honestly there were some sketchy people hanging around in the parking lot. Rooms were not clean. Sketchy people hanging around in parking lot. Tons of flies flying around in the room.

Granted this is a budget hotel, but even considering the price, I would not recommend this property. Upon arrival the parking lot had one guest repairing his vehicle and another having a tailgate party in the back of his pickup truck….couldn’t get into the room because the card reader was broken. Finally was given another room with a door that barely opened, a deadbolt that didn’t work, and wads of hair bubbling up from the bathroom sink. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and the room had a fridge to store food. Unless this is your only choice, there are better options in Salem.

Price is right, I like having a small refrigerator & stove & table . Staff is friendly & kind Was a bit in a bad neighborhood, some people staying seemed a bit sketchy, if u look closely the cleaning can use a good upgrade
-
The room was poorly maintained. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, but badly needed repairs and painting.
-
The room was tiny as a closet, definitely not as advertised.
-
The room was clean and met our needs.
-
No one bothers you. Yet everyone is friendly if you go outside.

I wasn’t expecting a little kitchen in the room the full size fridge, the mini stove that was a bonus. Plenty of storage for your things. I didn’t like that they didn’t have a blow dryer, iron, coffee in the room. When I travel I like to have everything in my room so I start my day by having my coffee as I get ready.

You get what you paid for! The bed was clean and comfortable but the rooms are old and there is a lot of sketchy behavior with people surrounding the property. Will not stay the to e again.
