Best Inn Motel Seaworld & Lackland AFB

Nothing. I did not like the location nor the motel. The location is horrible. If you’re a female and alone, I certainly would NOT RECOMMEND. I was in a room that I was unable to lick from the inside. There’s no type of security lock inside the room. Awful smell. No lamps in the room. Very small and seedy. Pictures do not depict how it actually looks!!!!!! Roaches. The “motel” is located behind a house in a residential area (bad neighborhood). The people are not very welcoming and the person that checked me in took a picture of my DL!!!! ?? In the middle of the night I was awakened by someone trying to get into the room. I would NEVER RETURN THERE. I’m not sure HOW THEY HAVE THE RATING THEY HAVE ON BOOKING.com?

Not so friendly staff, you had no extra towels, no soap, and no telephone so I had to literally look them up on my telephone. The room was clean so that was a plus.

The bed was clean Everything else. This property was a disaster. We arrived to find a small, grey-painted group of about 8 units in somebody's back garden. Check-in was through a window of the house and I had to stand there in the open for about 20 minutes through the most painful check-in process. The woman would not accept either my passport or driving licence as identification and kept showing it by smartphone to her husband at some remote location. Eventually he said to proceed. Then she went through the same procedure with both my credit and debit cards until he finally OK-ed these too. I don't know what she was doing with the card reader but both my cards were rejected so I (reluctantly) had to pay cash - a big inconvenience. The room was basic to say the least. The floor was rough painted boards - no rugs or carpet. Wires were hanging everywhere, the television didn't work and in trying to repair this, the woman's son presumably trod on the cable to the fridge, pulling the plug from the wall. Result - a huge pool of water in the morning. In the morning - no shower or decent wash because there was no hot water. There was nobody to talk to about this when we left in the morning. This property should be removed from booking.com lists - it does you no favours.

I didn’t like anything it was false advertisement. The people were bad. All they did was harass us for little things, and there was a lot of prostitution coming in and out of there. The prostitution coming in and out of the facility, the management had poor skills, and I will never come back to this place, ever again, super dirty
