Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio Airport South

This hotel was clean and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I appreciated its convenient location.

They are now charging for overnight parking which is a complete rip off. Shall not stay here again.

Water bottles are not free. You have to be a Hilton rewards member with a gold status.

Good place, clean room and free parking.

We met the manager Maria at the front desk. Unfortunately, she could not smile. This was unsettling as we had always been greeted with smiles and enthusiasm with other staffers. It put a damper on our visit as she did the same on check out. Smiling and welcoming are customer service 101. Unhappy people in her career field need to rethink their choices.

As always the Hilton Garden was clean. The indoor pool is a nice touch

Staff was very attentive. Hotel clean, enough parking (free), very small inside pool, full of kidse(lol), tea instead of coffee in room. Very quiet rooms, actually I was afraid when I book due to the proximity to the airport but I was surprised and it was quiet

The staff was amazing! The hotel was nicely kept and clean. The pool was freezing cold so we couldn’t get in. The hot tub was dirty and had clumps of hair and a bandaid floating around. The ice machine on the second floor went out so we had to go to the first or third floor for it. There were 2 roaches in our room.

Bugs in room items that are supposed to be attached to the wall. We’re falling off. Breakfast was freezer burnt. Bathroom door had heavy water damage.

The staff was helpful and courteous. However, I do not think you should have to pay to park at the hotel. The pillows were horrendous and the shower was a slipping hazard.

The staff was very unprofessional unfriendly they did not speak or acknowledge me. They were only talking negatively about me booking on a third-party site. We should not be putting the hotels out there and any deals if you’re gonna be treated this way when you get there.

The restaurant in the hotel online said they closed at 10pm. I went at 9 pm and they were closed. They said it was due to being slow. If it wasn’t for this I would’ve given all 5s. We had to order a pizza and it wasn’t delivered until 10:45 pm.

It is close to the airport. Car got broken into and the staff really didn’t know what to do. I had to contact a third party security that apparently didn’t have cameras in the parking lot and no one was on patrol. Filed my own police report and also had to escalate the situation to the property GM. Also upon checking out the credit card machine wasn’t working and we tried several cards. My bank and card company said nothing was wrong with my cards.

The linens and pillows smelled like body odor. I didn’t sleep hardly at all.

The room was not cleaned properly there was what looked like boogers on the wall. The bathroom shower was dirty. The hotel pool was filthy looking. Not comfortable at all.
