Oceana Boutique Hotel

No WiFi at room. Parking was helpful. Front desk was polite and friendly. Room was off kilter.

Our room was rather small it could use some remodeling or at least fill in the holes and some paint. Gas stove we didn't use. Refrigerator and microwave oven. A bug or two I think because it was a ground floor and flower beds close by. But the plus side is that it's so close to beach, downtown

Excellent location and cute old Beach Motel. Nice 20 minute walk to the ocean in five minute walk to coffee shops and great restaurants. There is a homeless guy who likes to hang out the hotel and others who I don’t think actually have rooms. They seemed harmless and the staff tried to redirect them to other locations, but they were often at the chairs and tables outside.

Excellent value for the location. It reminds me of what San Clemente used to be like in the 80’s and 90’s, a little salty with lots of locals hanging around. There was a Xena warrior princess clock in the lobby which was amazing. Kind of a throwback spot overall. Perfect for my one night stay where I just needed a place to sleep.

I was only planning on staying a single night but Megan who works there was on it! She was so nice and so helpful and helped me with all of our needs we decided to extend our stay for one more evening. She really knows good hospitality. Thanks Megan.

Stayed here for work, the place is pretty rundown and needs though cleaning. On the bright side the Price was extremely cheap

Staff is very kind, however, everything else is not. Checked in to find the room still uncleaned, which was fine because we showed up 30 min early. Came back when it was “ready”, and the floor was dirty and stained our socks. Sheets may or may not have been changed. It is a cheap hotel, so it was cool but later that night the room got swarmed by roaches and we found out that when you turn on the shower it causes backup and floods with dirty water and causes the toilet not to flush so we had to use the gas station bathroom all night. Brought it up the next day and the guy that said he would help us just started working on his bike instead. They tried to snake the toilet but it didn’t work and was a 3 hour adventure of trying to get something done about it until they finally moved us into a different room, which was also uncleaned. They cleaned it and we finally got to rest and shower but yeah not a great experience.
