La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Diego - Miramar

It’s so comforting to find a hotel that steps up to plate on everything like La Quinta did. I recommend highly.

Disappointing

Breakfast is barely basic. To be fair, there is limited space for the breakfast area. It is quiet, clean, and appears to be safe.

The room was very clean and very modernized however, there’s a lot of noise pollution outside because of the freeway and various people after hours yelling. My recommendation would be security after curfew hours other than that very excellent stay. One more suggestion the lighting in the restroom could be a little bit brighter as well as the vanity area.

Food was really bad. I mean you can't expect much but no scrambled eggs, sausage was really bad, and probably the worst coffee I have ever had. Rooms are a little noisy because of close proximity to I-15. Rooms were clean and the price was good. If you assume no breakfast you won't be disappointed

Location close to I15, good location to Poway where we were visiting relatives Room was spacious and clean, comforable with the small sofa No towel racks to hang bath towels, hand towels Bed was soft so seniors like us had some back soreness TV remote did not seem to have the controls needed by the TV service provider, it had limited functions making finding stations tedious. There should be instructions on how to use the TV and service.

The staff was very accommodating. The room was clean and well stocked. The breakfast options were also very nice. Felt safe and would stay here again

I had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. Very clean, looks like room was recently refurbished. Everything worked as it should. Even being close to the freeway, it was not noisy.

Front ambience and location Rooms - no dustbin in bathroom, no mirrors in room. No much options in complimentary breakfast - nor options on bread like regular white/brown bread … only french toast.. only one toaster … everyone waiting (crowded during breakfast time)

This hotel is freeway close, but in any room you can hear the traffic. The bed was very comfortable and water pressure was amazing here. For a short business stay it was great and suited my needs.

Breakfast could be improved. Very safe. Close to freeways.

The breakfast was so bad. The next day of my stay the never fix the beds only replace the bath towels I will not recommend to any one

Would not recommend this hotel. It’s a mar on the LaQuinta/Wyndham reputation in my opinion. I had booked an 2-night stay. Although the room was clean, the unadjustable shower head was so blasting powerful that it stung my skin and I couldn’t use the shower. The A/C set at 60 degrees and only shut off for 8-10 seconds between cycles to keep the room around 72 degrees temp. Breakfast was the poorest, with old looking potatoes held over several days, and cold bread pre-made as French toast along with pre-made waffles to be heated up. Trash cans were completely overflowing in the parking lot. Front desk staff was unreceptive, looked irritated and I didn’t feel it was worth mentioning anything of my stay. For the price of this stay - a big disappointment.

I had the most terrible experience. My room was smelling like a cockroach, we had a problem in our bathroom we requested them to get it fixed, never came. I will never book this place again
