Newer hotel on the beach!

Staff was great, every year we have a big family event we chose this hotel to stay. Walking distance for everything needed. Hotel offers beach assistance at a price for chairs, umbrellas and can set up if needed at the beach. Will come to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a oceanfront room with a patio on the first floor. We loved the patio, the security of sitting out there with a glass partition, overlooking the ocean. The rooms are well designed, light and bright. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of room for 2 people. Our only complaint is that I booked and paid for a king-sized bed via the Hotels.com app; we did not get the king bed. Expedia owns the app and seems to send erroneous information to the hotels about bookings. We’ve had an Expedia-furnished glitch before this week. All in all, we really enjoyed it.

Breakfast is not that good but the hotel is very clean and the rooms are very clean.

Our room was beautiful, clean, and we had an amazing view of the ocean. Pool was nice but too many kids splashing around and throwing pool toys. Not relaxing. My only gripe was having to pay as a hotel patron for beach chairs and umbrellas. Should be part of the stay. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful! Sandy in particular!

Great hotel right next to Pacific Beach. All amenities were spot on and the access to the beach is right outside the hotel. I had a great view of the beach from our balcony, only downside is that it is next to the pool area so other guests stay out there past 10 pm talking. The staff is super friendly and helpful with any questions. 35$ per day parking is worth it if you don’t want to spend your day searching for parking and if it’s a rent a car it is definitely protected in the garage. The lobby aquarium is a bonus to see some beautiful fish when you pass by.

Don't count on the breakfast. It is there but not that great. $500 a night is ridiculous, and I do not care how many hotels are doing it still does not make it right. It is all jacked up for summer and $2,500 for 5 days they still want $35 to park every day, plus San Diego liberal leaders tax act that they squander. To top it off they have convenient bottles of water for $3 each. It was a nice stay, but overall I felt ripped off and will be vacationing in Vietnam again like last year.

I think because we booked through Expedia that we did not get an ocean facing deck. We stayed 9 days and if we ever book again I would book through their own website in hopes of getting a better room

We came for our honeymoon. We had a second floor room facing the ocean. The room was great but it’s right next to a loud bar, so if you stay there over the weekend, be prepared to use the earplugs, which the provide. Otherwise the breakfast was good and we had a nice stay.

Our go to place in San Diego. No reason to stay anywhere else. It's right on the water, near all the Pacific Beach / Mission Beach restaurants, clean affordable and just our favorite.

The room was a good size and had a nice partial view of the beach. Breakfast was included. All staff extremely helpful.
