Great customer service at the front desk and telling their amenities and breakfast hours were extended to accommodate guests.

The place was ok. The free breakfast was good. But my first room the bathtub backed up while showering. The place smelled on the outside and in rooms. The backside that is facing the freeway had a lot of trash and dead bushes outside. I know they are but responsible for cleaning that area but for 253.00 the second night it needs to be cleaner. The tub backed up enough to have light black to medium black stuff come out the drain, about feet high. It slowly went out on its own and I left them know it needs to be snaked. They moved me to a room on the floor and again outside that window was a hill to the on ramp and very dried up tall grass and I kept the curtain closed. Not something I wanted to look at. I also let them know there was a small bug that looked like a small stick type bug that I got rid of on the floor at the base of the bed. Chairs in both rooms were dirty. The second room also smelled. The smell of both rooms were more like a mildew type smell. Staff was friendly and helped as much as they were limited to do.

Nice in clean considering area

The room was very clean and new. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was good. Waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt and oatmeal. No eggs or bacon. There is no pool. There is no lobby to sit in. The location of the hotel is not great. Like being in a middle class neighborhood. Does not feel like you are on vacation. It is right next to highway. One day there was a rotten odor in the area. Don’t know what it was. I would stay there again if I just needed a room for a quick stay but I would not stay there if on vacation.

Basic but kept clean and comfortable. Freeway easily accessible.

It was convenient for us and the hotel was a short distance to where we want to go. The only negative part about the hotel is the floor needs to be mopped. It was dirty. Our feet got dirty the minute we step out of the shower. The room has a musty smell when you walk in and it was too noisy

Laura was very accommodating, friendly, helpful and patient. Room was perfect for our overnight stay. Clean, lots of towels. It was a quiet area which we like.

I stayed at the Quality Inn San Diego I-5 Naval Base for one night on 8/14/26. The check-in went well. The staff member, Laura, was very helpful. The property has plenty of parking. I was in 308, and despite being close to the highway, I slept well and did not hear any outside noise. Breakfast includes a few items, like fresh fruit, coffee, a waffle maker, and oatmeal. For one night, the place served its purpose, and I would highly recommend it. While not the fanciest place out there, the most important thing is that it made my stay peaceful for one night.

A run-down, noisy, poorly located motel with a bad breakfast and a non-functional computer at the front desk. The path to the rooms leads through a trash area.

The property was smelling and worn out. The view from the back is a tagged up sewer tunnel that is sketchy. I was promised a 2 queen bed but got a king size only. No hit water was present.

Everything was great, except for the breakfast selection. Waffle, or Raisin Bran was the choice.

The location was terrible. There was street walkers everywhere and it was very scary. I was afraid to leave my room. I do not recommend this location ever
