Motel 6 San Francisco, CA – Great Highway

There are rats all over the place. I asked the front desk for a microwave due to my infant. They told me this was not a microwave, but the first room had a microwave.

Great location but the hotel is terrible

There was no microwave. The TV was very small. The Wi-Fi signal was very weak. The TV kept trying to find the Wi-Fi. There were insects in the room. Little black spiders. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The ocean was very close. You couldn't see it from the room but you just had to climb to the top of the little Hill and you can see it overall. It was okay. Just the amenities was the weak part of this trip and the Wi-Fi

There wasn’t much offered at this location. No air conditioning. Didn’t feel comfortable opening the windows. The bed was comfy but the room wasn’t well maintained. However, the location was perfect. If you are here for a quick trip this would be great but not for long term!

It was great right across from the beach. But the rooms on the ground level didn’t have heating or cooling in any rooms. The windows were nasty, the bathroom was dirty nasty, horrible water pressure. Outlets were well nowhere to be easy access to. Poor lighting, did have free parking. But that’s about the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. The rooms upstairs did have heating and cooling but when you turned on the unit it smelled like rotten fish! Doors weren’t very secure. Will not be staying here again that’s for sure.

I was afraid to leave my modest car outside so I just drove home. I live about 2 hrs away. Not really the motels fault but it is totally a sketchy area. Sry but it is the truth.

The manager Mr. Sam AKA Gujeet was very helpful and obliging with requests. The proximity to beach and other sights was excellent. Mattress was good, rooms were large. The coffee in Lobby was welcome. Would have liked to have a a micro in room but there was one in Lobby that sufficed.

Nothing First, we were put in the wrong room and the lights didn’t work. Then we were put in a second room and the toilet barely flushed, bathroom door locked us in, and the fridge power was off.

Location by the beach. Overall condition was awful. The room smelled a strong musty odor. The mattresses were extremely old and suspiciously dirty. The whole room's furniture and fixtures needed to be replaced. The walls were very thin, you could hear everything above, below and next door to you It appeared to have people living in some of the rooms long term.

The room we got was huge, but there’s a a huge roach infestation problem… my room has tons of roaches! The place is located in a great neighborhood! By the ocean

The room accommodated all my guests. However, the air conditioning was not working. Too stuffy in the room.

Absolutely filthy dump. Stayed 8 nights and had towels changed once. Holes in the ceiling, dirt all over the floor, broken glass in the window. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!! GET A TENT AND STAY ON THE BEACH!!

Wouldn’t stay here again. Although the room was large, it was sparsely furnished and did not feel clean. The parking area looked like it had a few cars with people living in them. The shower was small, leaked all over the floor and was not clean. There are no amenities to speak of and the front desk staff basically just handed us our keys. We had no interaction with staff otherwise.

We loved the location.

Nothing Dirty with broken TV cabinet. Light in bathroom didn’t work. I didn’t feel safe. Didn’t sleep. Arrived very late around 2am and left very early around 6am.

Location, a/c didn’t work, bathroom floor had a weird sticky spot, bath faucet was not attached to counter.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking! Omg. So much parking. Came back at 11pm after a game and there was still parking. 2nd and 3rd floor have somewhat of a view of the water. The only thing I didn't like was there was a random door that was locked from the other side that was a little sketchy. It was in our room, as well as other people's room that we were traveling with.
