Motel 6 San Francisco, CA – Great Highway

I loved how we were within walking distance to Ocean beach.

The AC unit did not work.

I stayed for two days. The ice machine was down but they had a fridge in the room that actually froze items so that was a plus. The room and property were clean. Perfect location and perfect price. Only downside is if you’re on floor 1 and 2 you will hear the person above you. Definitely will come back !

our stay was disappointing. when we checked in, we notice stains on the bedsheet, which made us question the cleanliness of the room. tha sink also overflowed and was not draining properly, these issues should have been checked and fixed before guest checked in. the room needs better cleaning and maintenance.

Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Only hotel I could find with 3 beds. Nice to have a separate bedroom. No table coffee pot or microwave in the room. Staff was friendly. I could see they were trying to update the room with new paint and flooring but the mold in the grouting in the tub was gross . On a busy street but quiet around 10:30 pm

The place was absolutely filthy. The mattress was covered in dark spots. There was no hairdryer and the air conditioner didn’t work. The place was filthy dirty and scary. I think it was uninhabitable.

Size of room. Some repeated difficulty in finding parking. No light switch of any kind at or near entry door to the room to turn on lights. You had to walk into a dark room when returning to it and walk to a lamp to turn it on. One of the lamps didn't work because of a burned out light bulb and was replaced with a lamp that had no on/off switch, you would have to actually plug/unplug it to turn it on/off. The lamp by the bed was of poor quality. The phone in the room didn't work, no dial tone, you couldn't even reach the front desk/office with it. The sink in the bathroom and the tub both had no drain guards or plugs to prevent you from losing something down the drain. The toilet area was cramped. The shower curtain was worn and tattered. The refrigerator had no freezer section in it. The good in room refrigerators do, which is a nice/helpful feature. Lastly, I found a small, alive, bug in my bed in the morning after waking up on the last night of my stay. And there were also a few bugs in the bathroom too.

Very clean room, literally, my room was right across the street from my car or vice versa You couldn't ask for a better location .I mean across the street from ocean beach! Price was exceptional , in my opinion , parking was free and there was plenty of it I can't think of anything I didn't like about my stay or the room.I was happy to be in the fresh ocean air for a couple of days coming from northern california cloverdale , where it's been quite hot , I had a very nice stay

Location. Food truck. The price was fair didn't expect too much.

It is a great deal for the price. I would have preferred the room a little cleaner, in particular the floors, but the room didn’t feel dirty, just a little older. We had an amazing view of the beach. Great place to book if you are going to outside lands.

Could use some updating. The view was amazing sunrises and sunsets. It’s a perfect location just a few steps away from ocean.

Nothing!! We was turned away because we was 20 min early, mind you we was turned away thru a ring camera and was told "check in is at 3pm and look at your watch! You still have 20 minutes!" That was it case cold!! The pictures on booking .com portrait your next to the beach but its far, theres no other buildings but its still far! There is absolutely not 1 eating establishment around the area to eat at unless you eat at an unsanitary taco truck or unsanitary deli ugh theres a Safeway about a half mile down and up the road BUT NO MICROWAVE IN ROOM, our room had fake wood tile that was bubbled EVERYWHERE on the floor, the only chair they had with no table was stained, dirty, smelly, and ripped!! Im highly disappointed in motel 6 for allowing them to use the name, our king bed had a big dip right in the middle so we woke up bodies stuck together!! Its so uncomfortable, we wanted our money back after the first day but was told from booking.com we will contact you shortly (we are still waiting 1 week after we got home) we had to chase down house keeping DAILY TO GET CLEAN TOWELS, WE NEVER GOT CLEAN BEDDING OR HAD GARBAGE TAKEN OUT IN 6 DAYS!! I highly recommend you stay anywhere but here!! Most of the rooms were occupied by elderly living there! People looking in windows, 2 people knocked on door looking for crack, theres a phone in room that dont work, this motel room literally ruined our perfect weekend we expected!! Im still angry at booking.com letting people post how good this place is LMFAO probably acquainted to the owner!! Over priced and inconvenient cheap motel.

You get what you pay for. It's not the best but it's right by the water. The ac sucked. Luckily it was cold outside so it was ok.
