Crowne Plaza Hotel Foster City - San Mateo by IHG

The staff and service is amazing. Everyone we talked to was very helpful. Rooms are a bit outdated and the ac made a lot of noise.

The room was good, there was a little noise because it was at the 92 highway side

The Crowne Plaza was a very positive experience. Upon arrival there was a problem with the air conditioning in my room, but the front desk and the technician were helpful to move me to another room. I absolutely loved the bed and the pillows, the bed was very luxurious. The shower head, which often is a problem in many hotels, had fantastic water pressure. I actually don't think I've ever seen a shower head like that. The breakfast area was very nice and well decorated, I enjoyed having breakfast there. I appreciated the complimentary parking. I plan to stay there again.

One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the Clubhouse bar and lounge! We had so much fun there. The music was great, with a mix of 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s music that made for such a fun atmosphere. Our drinks were yummy, and we ordered the calamari and yuca fries. Both were really good! The service at the Clubhouse was top notch. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. The bartenders were great, and the supervisor was wonderful as well. You could really tell the staff cared about making sure everyone was having a good time. Overall, we really enjoyed our staycation and had a great experience. We would definitely come back again, especially for another fun night at the Clubhouse!

The only issue was that the in-room coffee pot did not work

I didn’t know that the hotel was split into 2 separate buildings. It was hard for a mobility impaired person to access the main amenities. The few staff that I met were friendly. The deadbolt lock on my room door did not lock untiI I requested and received a repair (very helpful repair man). The chairs were very heavy to move. But the fold down seat in the accessible shower was great.
